I've started my journey down the road of DIY juice. I've had good luck with playing with tobaccos (Need to track down some TA but that is a separate issue) but. . .
Can anyone tell me why TFA Peach (plain old peach) is practically imperceptable to me at 5, 10, 15 and 20%? 50/50 base, 70/30. . . I get nothing. This stuff is about to end up insome butter cream frosting, it's making me that mad. I can smell it in the vial. Smells great. Do I need to add something to make it "pop"?

Peach is a Funny Flavor.

It is Very Hard, for My Tastes, to use it as a Single Flavor. Just Can't get Enough flavor with it before it starts to taste Chemical.

What I do is Add a Drop of Pineapple or Cherry (or Both) to my Mixes. 1/2 Peach and 1/2 Cheery is Also a Nice Combo.

BTW - Have you Tried FlavorArt Peach? I like it Better than TFA Peach. But of course, Taste is Highly Subjective.

Peach is funny. I know in homebrewing you get a better "peach" in beer by using apricots. If I wasn't in the midst of DIY juice, I'd dump it in a batch of cider. . .

Will try the FA or Juicy Peach next. Looking to work up a peach mango or peach guava. I'll diddle with a couple more 5ml tests with either of those flavors. I think the two vials (accidently clicked it twice when ordering from WL) are destined to go on top of a yellow cake. it least it was on sale. . .

I've heard good things about the Cap Sweet Guava. . .

Juicy Peach @ 8%-12% in a 50/50 mix = nice

Juicy peach @4%
Peach at 6%
1 Drop Lemon per 5ml(store plastic squeeze lemon)
Warm Bath, good Shake, let set over night
Might work :D

TFA Makes Flavorings that are to replicate original flavors.............for recipe work
Stand alone may or may not work

Some flavor makers are starting to design Stand alone Specific flavoring. Many are targeting Drink applications as well as the Vapors needs, not cooking.
