I'm using a standard Luer lock syringe I got from WL. Is there a better solution? Seems like it's only the pineapple tfa that kills the rubber piece. All other fruit flavors are ok.

ETA: I clean them right after using every time. Also have tried soaking it in soapy water overnight. Still going through them...

A very common problem with tank cracker flavors. They also seem to kill syringes. Some times I dip the rubber plunger in VG before using it but that's a temperary fix that don't last long. All you can do is stock up and replace often. I buy my 1ml syringes by the 100. Some have resorted to using glass syringes but that can be expensive.

How about one of These to hold your Flavoring...

... and one of these to do your Measuring?

A small glass graduated cylinder would work. By the way TFA Ripe Banana is also a syringe killer.

Cheers,
Steve

I think Graduated Cylinders work Great for Measuring Nicotine Base and PG/VG. The Relative Error induced is a Non-Issue to Me.

But they can be kinda a PITA for Measuring Flavorings/Sweeteners.

Good Call Danny.

Even a Pipette Pump can be gotten for less than the Cost of 2 Packs of Smokes.

Measuring by weight is not a bad call either and there's lots of info and support for that here on ECF. There are many inexpensive and very accurate scales on the market for a very reasonable price.

I'm an old dog that finds it hard to learn new tricks and prefer syringes and cylinders but there are many good alternatives out there.

I had the same problem and ended up buying a set of 5 1ml glass syringes. They came from China so were only $1.05 each but took 2 weeks to arrive to the west coast. The only drawback is that the measurements are at .2 increments rather than .1. But this has not caused a problem for me so far.

Yeah... Those Puppies Ain't Cheap.

I think I would buy a Good .01g Scale before I bought any of those Glass Syringes.

Yeah I know I would still like to get a couple, and they would last a long time also, so someone like me that has no intention of ever quitting, it would be worth it in the long run. I was looking at the pipette pumps also, but still no cash right now, except I am going to order more flavors.

Yeah... Not say's that having a Few of those Glass Syringes laying around wouldn't be Nice. But Right Now, I think I would rather buy More Nicotine Base.

Thanks for the links kas. I feel ya on not much cash at the moment. It's such a waste to use it once or twice and then throw it out. I may just resort to using pipettes I have.

zoidman the scale is a great idea. I may look into that at a later time.

There are just too many other things right now that I want, flavor and hard ware wise, just got to be careful with the cracker flavors, the dropper idea is the cheaper route. The scale thing is a good idea, but converting from ML's to grams requires math, which I am not so good at.

Don't let Math stand in your way.

Many of the Popular e-Liquid Calculator Programs have Incorporated weighing into the software.

And since Flavoring has about the Same Density of Good Old H2O, you can use 1ml = 1 gram in the program.
