Pistachio mix pretty tasty

I really like the flavor, everything is good but I get a little dryness after a I take a hit.

First time that's happened to me, a little weird. What causes that to happen. Here's my mix and it's been a shake and vape.

12.5% Pistachio TFA
5% French Vanilla V2 CAP
3% Bavarian Cream TFA
2% Vanilla Swirl TFA
1% Sweet Cream TFA
1% Whipped Cream FA
1% Sweetener TFA
.5 Amaretto Almond TFA

I would say if it's not the PG/VG or NIC causing the dryness it's one of the flavors so try mixing just the base with no flavor and vape that a while. If you don't get a dryness from the base eliminate the flavors one at a time. Is all process of elimination. Refer to my blog on base harshness.

Thanks Danny, great thought. My base is solid as I did a couple other mixes and they came out great. It has to be either the Pistachio TFA or the Amaretto Almond TFA because the others get used frequently and these are both new. I thought it may be something particular to using a nut extract. The mix isn't peppery or harsh, flavor wise it's pretty good it just had a dry affect in my mouth, kind of hard to explain.

Marc so you mean it is 3.0 Mg? I would consider that high since I am 1.2 to 1.8 Mg.

I get the same thing from my blueberry custard. It is a dry feeling in the mouth instead of a wet one. Its hard to describe, but I know what you mean.

Increase whipped cream to 3% and it should help. Or try adding 2% marshmellow.

Good thought Noodle, I recently brought that flavor into my stock. I'll test that too.

LOL.... can never have enough Marshmallow in any mix.

Thanks for the input everyone I'll continue to mix smaller batches and test these recommendations.

I brought a small batch to a buddy of mine that asked me to clone it for him. He gave me 15mls as a sample and I thought it was very close. I'll find out once he gives it a try.
