of coarse he's not going to tell me his recipes because he's a royal d bag. Guys a jerk and that's one of the reasons why I started diy.

I would not call someone a jerk just because they wont give away the farm to sell a glass of milk. If you were in his shoes I doubt you would post a sign with your recipes for customers. Many stores are owned by jerks I will give you that but they also have so much at stake. Just think how it might feel knowing that on any given week a law could get passed that puts you at risk of bankruptcy.
