So, I know that TFA Ripe Banana is a killer of plastics, but I was wondering how much you have to weaken it before it stops doing so. If I mixed my 8ml bottle into...maybe a 60ml bottle of nic, could I use that with other fruits safely?

edit: ok it's late and my math isn't working. That would still be too strong of a mixture, 60mls is just the largest glass bottles that I have, but you get the idea.

I make a Bannana cream pie DIY that only has 2% of ripe bananna in it. It killed the plastic tank that came in my Squape, which I think is a PMMA tank. Got a Bedazzle glass tank now. Slowly have been getting glass for all my tanks.

The authentic Squape is PMMA I think. Don't know about clones. I really thought PMMA was safer, but apparently not - I just researched a tiny bit, and it does seem to crack just as easily as polycarbonate tanks :/

I rarely use any plastic tanks - I love pyrex glass :)

dang. Anyone happen to know of a safe clearo (that's all I've ever used) that would work with an ego-t 2 upgrade battery? I have no idea what that means but that's what I've got. LOL

I normally purchase from the vapor room but they don't say which batteries fit which widgets and which melt and which don't. Well they do say that 3 of their flavors will kill my clearos.

If you put it in a polycarbonate tank it will react to it, and you will vape plastic - No matter what percetage. It might take longer for it to break it down entirely. If you mess with tank crackers, please stick to glass or SS-tanks (or possibly PMMA, anyone know?)...

Wow, so the only thing truly safe would be a metal and glass carto tank, or a dripping atty that doesn't allow the juice to come in contact with the o-rings. Good to know! I was planning on getting a few Pyrex BC tanks to solve the issue, glad I didn't order them.

Aren't Pyrex BC tanks fine though? Pyrex glass on the inside and polycarbonate on the outside to protect the glass? I don't know that thank :)

Unless rubber and other types of plastics are safe from TC juices, I would think there would be an issue since (from my experience) most tanks have at least one rubber part in them that would be soaking in or in contact with the juice. Then there's the issue of the drip tip unless it's metal lol.
For example, I can get a glass/metal replacement tank for my vivi nova, but these rubber parts are still unavoidable in most tanks (over the coil or on the chimney) and sit in the juice at all times. :/

The parts you show and the gaskets in most clearomizers are usually made of silicone rubber. Silicone is not affected by the tank cracker juices (AFIK). Natural rubbers are.

Sweet! I didn't know silicone wasn't affected. So I guess it's just the o-rings and drip tips I need to worry about.

Most have had great success with the tank cracking juices with the protank.

Kanger ProTank II [Clear] - $17.80 : EasyVapors.com, Electronic Cigarette Refills E Liquid

Nice price to.

They also had the ARO mentioned earlier as well but I don't see it in stock. I bought a few of those and they are glass tanks and worked good for the few tank cracker juices that I've tried. I think they are just out of stock right now but I see they still have the coils in stock.

They both have the 510 threads and will work on an ego battery.

Thanks Danny, I've been eyeing the ARO tanks for a little while and was thinking of getting a few.

The ARO's are a lot like and the same size as the kanger T3 bottom coil's and work the same way. They are very decent for the price. The tank is all glass covered by a stainless steel shell with a slit on each side like the kanger MT3's. The drip tip is also an intergrated stainless steel tip.

Yeah, I really think I'm gonna get some. Thanks! :)
