I'm really glad you started a thread for this, I've had the tfv4 mini for a couple of months now and I have mixed feelings for about these coils. I've tried the C2, T3, S6 and the Q4, and non of them lasted me longer than a week if I was lucky. Most of them lasted me 3 days at about 300 puffs a day. It may have something to do with the juice I was using (Muffin man by One Hit Wonder) but even with thinner juice the taste varied every day. The Q4 was definitely my favorite for best flavor but I would only get about 3 days out of them. Next would be the S6 but I've had two duds in two packs I bought on separate occasions. The nickel coils take such a long time to heat up and the flavor just isn't as good. The rest of the coils just left me wanting more.

I have also tried building on the R2 and the RCA which I ultimately gave up on. I have tried over a dozen times to build on the R2, and each time it would taste great for the first two puffs but the wicks wouldn't stay wet (giggety). The Rca broke the third time I tried building on it, the peek insulator and post is no longer fully attached to the base. I wish I could say I dropped it or man handled it but I honestly have no idea how it happened. Regardless how good the RBAs are when wicked properly, it should be easier to do so with fewer issues. I bought two velocity clones to satisfy my building needs. I'm sure not everyone agrees, but it's more enjoyable to me.

Overall, this tank and it's coils are too expensive for me for every day usage. The coils are so hit or miss for me, it is not worth the headache. I really wanted to love the coils but they weren't consistent enough to feel confident that I was gonna have a good vape for breaks at work.

I bought a crown tank which just arrived three days ago and the flavor is just as good as the tfv4 mini on a good day. They are a fraction of the cost of the tfv4 coils and are notorious for lasting for a long time, I am hoping my experience with them will be better. An Aromamizer may end up replacing both of these tanks though.

Nailed it. The coils don't last for the prices they are charging. I can get maybe a week from the clapton coils, anything longer and I am just suffering through it. Love the looks, the airflow, and the flavor. Happily upgraded to a Mutank (RTA). I also have the TFv4 Mini on the way from the ECF contest here... I will give it another try, but I wish there was something I could do to make the coils last. I can't recommend this tank though, especially at the price of ~$20 for 5 coils.

Q4 coil passed 250ml and is nearing the 300ml mark with the same flavor and performance.
On the mini TFV4 I put in the sextuplet but is not impressed. Tried various wattage and ended up at 50W. Coil gets hot fast and wonder if it is because of the small size of tank? The Q4 coil is always used at 70W and does not get hot that fast on the full size TFV4.

Decided it was time to replace the Q4 coil in my TFV4 tank. It has been there since Thanksgiving and vaporized more than 400 ml.
Amazing.... This one is my longest running coil.....
Popped in a new Q4 coil and I hope it gives out the same longevity as the first one. I have 9 more Q4 coils and at this rate, it would be 2018 when I finally run out. LOL
My other TFV4 is arriving any day now and I will then play around with the tricoil RBA.

Hate to say...........Received my TFV4-mini a few weeks ago. Also received several RDA's from FT. All have gone through UC cleaning and have been sitting ever since, waiting to be coiled/wicked/enjoyed.
This bum arm injury is really cramping my style. Little desire to battle the pain to complete the task at hand.

They are a little finicky with wicking/leaking. I still have issues sometimes. Just yesterday I put some new coils on the dual RBA. I put the coils as close as I could to the airflow, but they were too close and the juice just went from the wick to the deck.

I have been using the TFV4-mini for a couple of months now and bought the R2. Problem is that I can't wick it properly. It seems that the juice just won't go through the tight space around the base and deck. Does anyone have a solution?
This is what has worked for me pretty consistently lately. I use rayon, so if you're using cotton you might have to experiment a little. But with rayon, it wicks better from thin to thick, so I cut about half of the amount of rayon out of the tails, to end up with tails that have half as much as what is inside my coil. Then I cut my tails off just below or as close to even as possible with the first set of threads in the juice channels, the ones closes to the deck. I mainly use 70 VG juice or higher, so I'm not sure how this would work if you're using lower VG. If you're using cotton, you could also try cutting your tails in a tapered way, so as they go into the juice channel, they get thinner.
