I have the single RBA deck for the tfv4, I've not used it yet as I still have stock coils to use up. I have heard the RBA struggles with high VG juice? Is that true? I only use max VG and would rather buy more coils than use thinner juice

Hi Paul,
The juice-feed channels in that single coil rba you're using are plenty large enough to handle max VG juice. It's all in the wicking.
If you run into issues then you might try using less cotton in your wicking (i.e. don't make the wick too tight in the coil or packed too much in the juice feed holes).
I use max VG juice, vaping the R2 coil (dual rebuildable) for the TFv4 tank, and it's vaping like a charm. I just looked at that single coil rba too and that thing should have no problem feeding max VG to the coil.
I've never read that myself and I've never had any issues. I vape only max VG too. I popped a 2 strand twisted 24g coil, which barely fit into the holes in the 1 coil RBA and wicked it with rayon and it worked beautifully. I vaped it at around 80w or so and I never got a dry hit or a leak.
Typical Miss-information from an inexperienced builder suffering Failure. No reason it cannot handle any mix thrown at it. The single coil deck has as large or larger channels than anything else in its category.
Cheers, I've built on many decks and never suffered with VG juice, I plan to build on the tfv4 tomorrow gonna try twisted 26 I have been told 24twisted is a ..... and drilling the holes isn't a bad idea lol

It is an amazing little deck, with a little wiggling I managed to stuff in two .5 ohm coils ( the kind you buy from china 3$ for a bag of 50 ) I made sure the wick came down to the base of the deck and then left a little tapered ribbon of cotton laying in the juice channel but in no way clogging it up.
It was by first build on this deck and it was amazing from 40-60 watts.
I have a .3 ohm chimney build on it now but an saving it until I burn the stock coil I have in it.
