TFV4

Just a question wondering what if. Will a TFV4 with any of the coil combos work with a parallel unregulated wooden box mod? I was wondering if it was considered safe because of all the hoopla about exploding. I use LGDBHG21865 18650 3.7V/3000mAh 20amp batteries (brown) in my Kanger subox Mini now.

all depends on what the lowest value of coil assembly is being used... I personally wouldnt use anything less than .3 ohms...

I'm not sure what the premade coils from Smok are. I would assume .5 ohm. I build .6 ohms on my Kanger Subox mini rba right now. I was just wondering.

I have to agree with Bunnykiller. As long as you use the higher ohm coils it should be fine. If your mod can handle it you could switch to the HD2 or HB6 and fire any of them. Mooch tested the HD2 to 30a and the HB6 can easily do 30a

I heard the HG2s can handle down to .2 ohms, but I don't go that low anyway. I'm eager to try out the TFV4.
