I just put in the octuple (or howerever it is spelled) coil last night that goes from 50-260w (recommended at 120-180). When I vape it at 110 after about 4 puffs the bottom starts to get hot and if I take a good hit off of 140w or higher it gets hot after one hit. Has anyone else experienced this? The other coil that goes from 90-150 I could vape at 120 back to back without it getting hot at all.

There's quite a bit of wire in that coil head, and its current draw is inherently higher and more power definitely equals more heat.
By hot, do you mean it's painful to the touch? I never used that coil as I rarely vape over 100w, but maybe someone that does use it can give a better answer here.

weird, i usually vape with this coil around 180-200w and its getting hot only like after 5 minutes of chain vaping.
using a sigelli 213 with it and it doesn't go so hot that I can't touch it but after about 5-6 puffs at 120 it will get hot but not so hot that I just can't touch it at all. I just thought it was weird because the other 6 coil that goes from 50 to 150 I could vape that at 120 all day long and it wouldn't get hot
Well it is two more coils in that Beast of a tank. I was watching alot of reviews comparing it to the Baby Beast and it is pretty common for it to get hot after a few pulls, according to reviewers. Now the Baby on the other hand gets hotter quicker, again, according to the reviewers.
