Im sure they would find away. When I was in Thailand for a little bit, they as Im sure you can guess, get everything for cheaper(for the Thai people). I met up with a friend of a friend who was from Thailand there to show me around and she couldn't stop laughing at how much I was paying for everything while there. Many of them smoke cigarettes but I dont think anyone but tourists bought them from the local 7-11 like me and paid about 3 bucks a pack.

I hear ya - my brother in law is consistently reaming my ... for spending half the price i would on stuff here, there (apparently, they'res better deals to be had for non-farang). As for the ban, it seems there's a lot of things banned that are overlooked for poor, innocent, farang tourists that don't know any better, if you catch my drift... I doubt i'll ever get my PV snatched, even if the ban does come down.
