Thanks to this forum and all the people who have contributed, I have now managed the switch over to vaping, no cigarettes for over a week!
I was smoking at least a pack a day for 30 years and have tried everything to quit, the last couple of years I have managed to smoke only the lightest cigarettes available, but my lungs are packing up and I started needing an asthma inhaler for the first time in my life.
After much research here I ordered an 801 from Eastmall with an extra atomizer in January. Straight away I thought this could work for me, but I didn't like the pre-filled cartridges and was told by David at Eastmall shipping of liquid was expensive to South Africa. I managed to get some liquid in South Africa from the Electronic Cigarette Store and it sure made a difference. So after stocking up on a few more atomizers and batteries, and making a plan with Eastmall whereby they will ship me liquid at normal rates for a minimum $100 order, I started cutting down on cigarettes. I now run 3 801's at once, one is not enough, and I have lots of different flavoured liquid. The whole of April I smoked only a maximum of 10 cigarettes a day, it was surprisingly easy and some days I would smoke less, and the last day of April I had my last cigarette.
I don't seem to be having any withdrawels or stressing too much, it just seems too easy.
