I have been lurking for a couple of years, but tonight, I felt it was appropriate to make my first post. Today was the first day in 13 years that I went without an analog cigarette.

I've been using an ego off and on since 2011 along with trying various clearos, cartos, and tanks. The ego definitely helped me to cut back, but it was not enough to satisfy my tobacco cravings.

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a sigelei zmax. It's a great device. The zmax coupled with a vivi nova, which I've become fond of, came close to helping me to make the transition to 100% smoke-free. I was having problems with the vivi novas tasting dry and burning up.

This morning I rewicked the nova with cotton, and have found my perfect setup and was able to use it all day. I can finally say I am an ex smoker.

I really just want to say thank you.
Without this community, I would still be smoking the pack and a half a day that I was two years ago. Even though I haven't been active on the forums, I have learned an incredible amount of info about pv's, and used that info to give sound advice to friends and family to help them convert. I've converted five people, including my parents, with more in the works. But, today's my day.

So, THANK YOU!

Proud of you, as you should be of yourself. I "lurked" for a while too (but not 2 years).
I smoked for 56 years, and habits are hard to break.
My hardest times are (still happens once in a while) after a meal, or when I need to re-group my thoughts, take that mental break, but I just grab my pile of different flavored Ego's and I don't feel like I'm giving up anything.
I sure enjoy not having to go outside every hour or so (winters at 10 degrees sometimes), or raining, not coughing up phlegm (especially when there was some blood spots in it), getting meds and shot for years for an "allergy" that the doc and I thought I had, that kept re-appearing, burned spots on stuff no matter how careful I was, smelling stinky, getting sneering looks from other people.
I find that even though you can't "smoke" in businesses, there's always a restroom that I can use and no ones the wiser.
Hubby never smoked and never complained about or too me, but after I quit, I sure hear a lot of nice comments that let me know how much he really didn't like it.
Well, I'm getting ........ of the keypad, so I'll just say I hope your as happy as the rest of us, that you found e-cigs and got off the cancer sticks.
Goood for you ......... :)
