I just wanted to say thank you to the ECF community.

I started the vaping journey like many before me...to quit smoking analogs. I started like many as well...cigalike, ego and tank, VV/VW box mod and aspire nautilus tanks.

After much reading and consideration, I bought a Infinite Kayfun Lite Plus with nano kit and decided to dip my toes in the world of rebuilding. With the resources on this forum and countless YouTube videos (many recommended here) I nailed it out the gate. 28g Kanthal 8/9 wraps on a 2.5 mm screwdriver gave me 1.5/1.6 ohm. Wicked with organic cotton and all I can say is WOW. The flavor is tons better and the clouds are pretty good on my MVP 2 at 10/11 watts. I have almost put 10 ml through it in about 12 hours.

I fear I may have started down a dangerous path. I see many RDA's and RTA's in my future. Don't know if I will go the mech mod route, but I am definitely looking for a 50 watt box mod.

I don't think I'm there yet, but I took one step closer last night.


PS - Anyone have a beat on the Sigelei 50W box mod? That is the one that has caught my eye.

You WILL spend a considerable amount of money UNTIL you find your sweet spot. But some people like to have a lot of variation and stuff so whatever makes you happy!

Keep it safe and demand good information from vendors of eliquid. If every vaper stands like this vaping will be safer in the future!!

I feel like I already have. I was adding it up in my head this morning. This is not counting disposable items (juice, carts, etc.). Probably around $500.00 on gear. God knows how much on juice and heads.

The wife asked me last night if it vaping was cheaper than smoking. I told her no.

this is a great joint huh? I've had so many answers when I looked online to issues that came up that lead here..


the "being cheaper" I remember the first day I vaped, looking in here, and saw those counters on how much "saved" and we'd just laid out $500 for us both to vape, in equipment and juice, and thought "yeah right"

oh well, it's NOT smoking ciggies, and that's the glorious thing in my opinion, that I enjoy it, even better.
