Well guys, this may be my last post... Or maybe not? Who knows!
I shifted from smoking cigarettes to vaping exclusively this past November. I jumped into the vaping world head first... It was great for me, as I love techie electronic stuff. I had a few eGo pieces, a Vamo, ProVari, a Poldiac... A few RBA's, cartos, dripping setups, Vivi Novas, stardusts... I tried everything, including DIY.
I knew I didn't want to smoke cigarettes anymore, and I wanted to be rid of nicotine as well. So , in my quest to become nicotine free I started mixing my DIY with a little tiny bit less nic in every batch, until eventually there was no nic at all.
The whole process took me about 6 months to completely ween myself off the nicotine.
Point is, I was able to use eCigs successfully as a tobacco cessation aid.
I'm awfully proud to say that I have been smoke free since November, was able to stop vaping some time in late April, early May, and have since started running regularly, riding my bike to work (around 130 miles a week), eating healthy, and can honestly say I'm in the best shape I've been in 25 years!
If I hadn't come across these forums, I never would have learned everything I did about vaping, and would probably be smoking still. So to the entire ECF family, I'd like to extend a huge heart felt THANK YOU!
The best part of it all... When I was finally comfortable that I wasn't going to need my vaping gear anymore, I was able to sell most of it to members of the ECF community! You can't do THAT with cigarettes!
Again, Thanks to everyone! Thanks for making me laugh, thanks for educating me, thanks for allowing me to rant and rave, thanks for letting me hang out!
I intend to continue to support the forums as a supporting member... These forums deserve to live forever if even one more person can put down cigarettes and have their life saved!
Bless you guys!
Dave
