Hi everyone. I just wanted to say thanks for the hours upon hours of information I've read here before making my first purchase. Here's my story....

So it was do or die time for me to quit smoking. I've got a few friends at work that have used pv's successfully but I wanted to do my own homework on which one to buy. After doing a lot of research here I decided on the Joye 510 with a PCC.

After 3 days of absolutely horrendous battery life I decided it's time for either a different battery or a battery mod. And again, after hours of research I decided on a battery mod and the Mako Midi is the one that's right for me. I'm still very new to vaping and I don't really know what I like yet, so I didn't want to be limited to just 1 or 2 battery options. This Midi is like a set of Lego's and I can mix and match whatever I want.

So, thanks guys. I'm on day 6 of no analogs, and this is the longest I've ever gone without one. But I've got to give credit to my pv because it keeps me from killing everyone in my general vicinity and has actually made this process easy.

I'm glad the forums here could be of help. When I first came here, I researched for about two weeks before making my first purchase, just to make sure I had all the info I needed when I began using e-cigs. The time I spent really paid off, as I have yet to have any negative experiences with products or suppliers.

As always, if you have questions, please ask! We're all here to help each other. :)

Scrappy !

Appreciate your sharing......especially that you are on day 6 ! Congratulations!

I too had some difficulties in the beginning (picked out e-juice that I could not tolerate).
Jeffrey and Laurin at wordupe-cig bent over backwards to send me samples of other juices. They sincerely wanted me to be successful getting off analogs.

I now am on day 2......you have given me hope!

What's working well for me is keeping 1 spare cart with high nic as a back up. I'll vape 12mg juice all day, but if I start to get cravings I'll throw in my emergency 24mg cart and that more than hits the spot. Anyone else do this?

Btw, I can't believe how great the customer service is and how fast everyone ships in this industry. So far I've bought stuff from Cignot, Cigtech, Electronicstix, Madvapes, and The House of Vapor. So far I haven't had a single problem with any of them. I've never had service like this when I ordered parts online for my Subaru.

HI Scrappy and welcome to the forum. I'm still fairly new to vaping as well. I've had my pv for about a month now, but I was still smoking a few cigs a day. For some reason they were a crutch for me, bc I wasn't getting the consistancy that I needed from my pv. But yesterday afternoon I decided not to buy another pack & see what happens. So far I haven't had any analogues since yesterday afternoon, and I'm hoping I can stick with it like you have! Good Luck!

I think a lot of people do this. I started with 24mg and still use 24mg for every vape. I think I just lucked out by picking it in the first place because it's working just right for me. Good Luck!

Being new myself I've tried 24, 18 and 11 mg. The 11 isn't enough to quench my thirst, but the 24 about put me under so for me the 18 is a good starting ground. I had ordered some 24 and find that if alcohol is involved it goes down better. Keep it up, I know how much better I'm feeling these days..
