Hello all!
I am a new vaper, UK, from the US and thanks to this forum my first set up is perfect. I spent a long time researching before I started and almost all of my information was found right here, so thank you all!
Over 28 years have quit smoking for years, months, weeks and always went back hating every minute of it. I don't use a very high dose of nicotine nor did I smoke very much but I never was able to let nicotine go forever, probably because I started at age 14 and I also suspect that nicotine helps me focus.
I have wanted to move to vaping for years but I couldn't commit to the initial investment and found it very hard to understand the jargon when I came to investigate. I wanted to be sure I knew enough to start on the right foot. I am a person who gets easily put off if things are not right. In 2011, when I was still a non-smoker I bought a cheap cig-a-like from china with 0 nic carts just to see if I would use it instead of buying cigarettes. It worked even though the taste was horrible. It kept me off of cigarettes for much longer. Sadly in a particularly bad craving moment the battery died and I bought a pack of cigs. In another 3 months, I quit again with the hardcore NO NIC EVER philosophy... and eventually failed, again.
That was the final straw! I bought myself another e-cig to give me some time to convert while I did my remaining research and ordered my kit. I am currently vaping 6mg and 0 nic and I couldn't be happier! I am 3 weeks in and I'll never go back.
Right now I have 2 ego-c VV 1000mah bats, 2 kanger pro-tank II mini's, 7 various juices and a handful of carts for tasting, and I still spent less than I would have smoking.
So, I just wanted to thank everyone here for providing so much useful information. Hopefully I can continue to vape and the laws in the UK will not change forcing me to stop.
Any advice on UK vendors that have low nic, yummy juices would be helpful. I would love to mix my own juice but I don't have much time to do it.
