I started vaping on 23rd May this year. I started vaping because I want to kick analog cigs for good. I used to smoke about 5/day however I would smoke more cigs with drinks on weekends. My partner is a heavy smoker.
I sing and felt that analog cigs were starting to affect my voice but I enjoy smoking so it was an easy decision for me to convert to vaping.
It wasn't easy at first because you cant buy juice with nic in Oz. So the eliquid was 0 nic that I got when I bought my first Ego pen kit. I was determined to try but by the evening my cravings for nic were high so I'd have an analog at night and vape during the day.
A week later I caught up with a friend who had started vaping and he gave me some juice with nic in it....HEAVEN!! He also gave me a Kangertech Evod mod...love it ☺

I got lots of tips from my friend and doing research online and here too.
I've since bought a Kangertech Genitank mega and love it.
And I bought myself a 2nd KT evod because I love the glass tank. Its so easy to use and change juice on the go.
I also have a nice collection of juices...mt baker is my fave goto for flavours atm

I still love my CE4 ego pens as theyre compact and give off a great vape but sadly I cracked one of the plastic tanks with Maraschino cherry juice.

I thought if I just put a tiny bit (5-10%) and mix with another juice but it still cracked the tank...lesson learned.
No biggie though because it was an excuse to order a couple of tanks (Kangertech Aerotank mini and Genitank mini) to try lol

It is a great place for info. Plenty of friendly people here too. Any questions feel free to ask, we're more than happy to help. :)

Thanks heaps.

I'm thinking of getting the kangertech subox mini next to try as I tried my friends kangertech (cant think off the top of my head but its the silver one in the previous model) it goes to 40w.
We tried it with green apple vape, 0.5ohm coil and wow...huge hit! I think something like that is what I need

Edited to ad: ask around for reputable online stores. Ever Product I've purchased from mount baker vapor and my vapor store have come sealed in the box with the code you can use to check on the manufacturer website and ensure it is authentic

Congrats and welcome! I can't speak for many tanks as I've quickly transitioned to dripping, but every kanger I've bought has been top notch build quality. If you are ordering online ensure you are getting the product as made by a manufacturer, there are some shady clones out there especially for the big companies like kanger.

The subox mini kit is a really great little setup, plus it uses external batterys so you can charge one and vape on the other. Plus it comes with a rebuildable deck so if you do want to try building your own coils the opition is there.

I'd definatly recommend the subox. Also they're coming with the new vertical coils now.

Ive got a selection of kangertech products and tanks and I'm very happy with them so far which is why I thought I might give the subox mini a go too.

I only want to buy authentic kangertech....is there any sites you recommend?

Im in Australia and have tried fast tech and havent had any issues. Im aware some of the stuff they sell isnt authentic but they also sell the real deal too. You just have to be patient and wait for it to arrive.

Am tossing up between the kbox and the subox mini....

Thanks for the reply I think I'll definitely be going with the subox as it looks to be an upgrade from the kbox and I can use some of my other kangertech tanks with it too.

Do you know of any good sites to buy it with fast delivery? I'm in Australiaand fast tech takes about a month to arrive by then I'm stalking the postie haha!

My products that I have purchased through MyVaporStore and Mt. Baker Vapor were sealed and had the scratch off sticker which allows for authenticating the product online. Others may have their own recommendations, but that has been my experience. Don't purchase in a B&M store you'll generally page 20-50% more, order online.

Thanks for the tip I remember being told about the authentication sticker and I will keep that in mind too as I only want authentic. I love mt baker! Their vapor is the bomb. I will be sure to check out myvaporstore too

I got one for someone from amazon. Like GoBlue88 said as long as it has the sticker ontop your fine :):) but DONT buy batterys from there or ebay because there are loads of fakes sold on both amazon and ebay.

Thanks @opticruby I'm thinking of getting my batteries and charger from mt baker as theyre reliable and quick for delivery.

Any recommendations on coils for this?
I looked on fast tech and found some 0.5ohm coils for the subox but thought I might try a few different resistances.

One day when I'm feeling brave a might try building my own

The lower ohm coils (.5) are usually for streight to lung hits but you could use for mouth to lung. If you buy the subox kit it will come with a .5 and a 1.5 (I think its 1.5) ohm coils so you can try both see which you like best.

Also kanger are selling vertical and horizontal coils at the moment so it gets a bit more confusing but I think both are good :)

I think I might try both, it'll be a good way to work out what I like best.

Looks like I have some more vape shopping to do ☺☺☺☺
