Just thought I would add my story to the list of happy ex-smokers!

My first experience with e-cigs was a buddy who got a Blu, the day he brought it over to show me he bummed 2x analogs... so I wasnt impressed with its effectiveness.

Fast forward a year, I just failed trying to quit with the patch and remember e-cigs. I stumble on this website and decide to get a 510 after poking around for a bit...

After getting it and playing around till I'm getting a good hit - I think "I can do this!" I've only had 5 analogs in 3 days with this thing and I think I don't need to have another analog!!

So thanks ECF for being a good source of reliable info amongst all the ads/scammers/noise on the internet about e-cigs.

ps. got an usb pass-through and 5x more flavors on order already... I'm excited!

Thats great! Good luck. I got off analogs after 3 days. I had a few about a week after. I went out fishing and the batteries went dead. Long day of fishing. Then I up graded to the Screwdriver. Two batts that last me 14 hours no worries now.

Always great to see another Washingtonian join the ECF family. Took me a little over a week before I finally switched over completely.Keep with it, it sounds like you're off to good start.This a great place to hang out and meet some good people while you're reading through all the informative threads.

Just an update here- I haven't had an analog since my above post! Thats one day shy of two weeks! Only really have had a few times where the craving for an analog got strong enough to consider getting a pack, but I just vaped a few big hits and it passed!

Now I've upgraded with the great $40 ego kit from liberty flights, so I won't have to stress if I go for a camping trip/etc. and won't be near an outlet for a few days (apparently im a lightish vaper b/c the ego batteries last me more than a day each!)

I'm feeling great; I can smell, I'm coughing some gunk up (cleansing), and I'm starting to experiment with very low nic content (6mg) juices.

Yay for e-cigs!

As a new guy, that's very comforting to hear. I get cravings in the morning and after I eat. I do what you mention, vape heavy for a few and it passes. So far, so good.

Woot Woot!! Congrats to you!!!!!!! I started a little over a year ago with the BluCig, got frustrated (went through wayyy too many cartridges) and went back to analogs. I found one of my partially charged BluCigs in my purse while traveling a couple months ago- vaped it for a few seconds and decided that when I returned home, I would do a little research.....I ended up ordering the 510's and have not looked back!! I gave the BluCigs to my son's fiancee' who is a fairly light smoker and she has quit the analogs too. I just found out that the 510 cartomizers that I have will fit her BluCigs, so she is much happier now too lol! Maybe let your buddy know this info on the 510 cartomizers too??
