Hello fellow vapers, Kaleb here. Ok so right now I have the Omega 2, which nobody has ever heard of because its sold by Smart Smoke here in Spokane, WA.... Its a pretty nice device, its got a 650 mah manual battery thats is, eh, ok.... I use prefilled cartos that I buy from Smart Smoke because its convenient and I really like their coffee flavor. The issue that I have with it is the cartos only last me a day, even though ive been trying to limit my use. The other issue that im having is I charge the battery every night and if I have a half full carto on it when I charge it, it tastes burnt after I charge my battery. So i'm really just looking for suggestions about what I can do to improve my vaping experience! Ive heard about giantomizers, clearomizers and tanks and i'm a bit overwhelmed! I was thinkin about getting a variable voltage device, the cheapest one ive found is Apolo Cigs Vtube... I appreciate all the wonderful advice that ive gotten so far on here, so thank you. So, where do I go from here?!

Lavatube and its variations are fairly cheap. I have friends using them. Tanks,Cartos and atomizers are personal choice though I like CE style rather than regular cartos. There are alot of different juice vendors to try but I use Vaporbomb.com.

I am not a fan of the Lavatube because of the limitations on what you can vape on it, such as 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers.

The next logical step up is either a good 5 volt model or a good variable watt or volt model. I would look at the 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor or the variable volt EVO for an entry level VV model without the limitations on what you can use on it but in the same size and price range. Sweet-Vapes sells the EVO. Or you can step up to the two best variable models on the market, the Darwin from nhaler.com or the Provari.

When you charge the battery, it's operating at it's highest voltage right off the charger. Just let go of the button quicker when you take a drag, the extra voltage is overheating the coil...:)

Regarding the cartos, try a few samples of juice that you can top off your cartos with will also cut down on burnt tastes and save a bit of $$$$

Hi all. I'm a newbie to ECF too. I'v.e been vaping for a couple of months. Started out with eGO T and converted it to the eGo C just last week. Great upgrade. No leakage, good vapor and flavor comes through with out being burned (unless the tank is going dry). I joined the forum to get advise on diy e liquid. I've tried VG & PG blends from several houses and have a couple of favorites but I would like to experiment with flavors and save a few bucks as well. If anyone would care to give a novice some advice please feel free.

I am also not a fan of the Lava Tube because of it's limitations. If you were going to buy a VV device you might as well go all out and not waste you money. Provari or Darmin. If you want something that holds a lot of juice and has great battery life get a Reo. These mods aren't cheap but if you buy one you won't be wasting your money on trail and error like I did.

The LavaTube is a perfectly capable vv device. I've been using a variant for a couple of months and have had nothing but enjoyment from it. True, you can't use low resistance with it, but there is no need for that on a higher voltage device. I was swinging for an Ipro, but the kit I bought was a mere 80 dollars and had everything I could want for it versus around 150 for a solid Ipro setup.
