Ego with LR cartos man !! That's the bomb !

Tried it all, started with a 510 regular attys, then ego regularg attys, went to LR attys, then dripping (which I hate) which was the best even though it is annoying.. Then I tried cartos which was so so.. then I got LR cartos today and here we go ! That's vaping my man !

I stop here.. it is now perfect ! Going on 3 months smoke free and going on 3000 analogs passed !

Is this some kind of urban legend about LR atty's and eGo's or made up by someone trying to sell mods ?

Have been using LR attys on an eGo for 9 months. Smallest eGo battery. Switch between 3 batteries bought from 2 sources.
The batteries ALL still work fine. After 9 months.

Have even used a LR atty on the smallest 510 battery for a few weeks. It also worked fine.

Batteries are expensive, yet built with planned failure modes. I agree that LR is the best I've found.

3.2/2.5 = 1.28 amps
3.2/1.5 = 2.13 amps

Yes, LR creates a higher current draw, but the battery on a standard Ego is only rated for 650mah till cutoff. I still get 2-3 hours between charges with LR as opposed to 5-6 with standard attys. That can be extended if you vape in short puffs and don't hold the button down for 10 seconds. LR gives you big vapor in short pulses of power. I think it can balance out in terms of battery longevity.

There's a debate about LR and the ego. After careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that LR isn't always the same thing...

There are 2.5 ohm, 2 ohm, and 1.5 ohm attys/cartos, all labelled as "LR". When you dip under the 2 ohm range, you're risking the mosfet on your ego. If you want to try LR on an ego, make sure the supplier specifies the ohm rating of the atty or carto you're thinking of trying. Some people kill egos all the time with LR, and some never do; I think it might be because of the variance in what is termed "low resistance".

Keep it at or above 2 ohms, and you *should* be safe.
