Man, time sure does disappear when I'm building coils! Every time I try to "just build 1 setup", I end up trying like 3 more times after that. It's good practice I must say, but the weekends are going by quickly these days.
Anyway, my last build of the day is a 3-strand parallel dual-coil. 4 wraps around a 1/8" punch with 28ga kanthal, leaving me at 0.2Ω. UD IGO-W7 by the way.

At 4.2V this coil will draw 21A, so the power is 88.2W. My batteries are rated 30A continuous so technically they'll take more, but I'm not willing to find out where the limit is. Besides, I'm getting so much vapor off a 1-second pull that I'm plenty happy. Tastes great, too.
Speaking of flavor, I splurged and picked up an authentic Magma rda. Mmm-mmm-mmm this thing makes flaaavor when you buiild it right!
Lookin' good atop my Smok Magneto II
Looks good. Works well. Tastes great. Leak-proof, comparted to my other RDA's. Worth $100? I say it would be, if they finished making the thing. The threads between the deck piece and the cap have burrs all over them. It actually feels smooth when you assemble, but cotton (and everything else) sticks to it like it's Velcro. I have a $17 atty with cleaner threads. It was also rather dirty/oily out of the box, and required a good cleaning before I was willing to inhale through it. That's not terrible, but in this price range I thought all the little details would be taken care of. The packaging was nice...
Running dual-coil with 7 wraps of 28ga kanthal per coil, finishing at 0.69Ω. It runs a bit hot on long pulls, but it heats nice 'n' quick and as soon as my DNA 40 shows up (!) she's goin' on there. Both of the builds in this post are going to love that regulated current! Oh boy oh boy, tomorrow, maybe the next day....I can't wait! More when that arrives.
Peace
