A quick bump on the 23, Dr Pepper. I ordered the Flavoring on Friday morning, and (get this) got it Monday morning (from CA to FL) I was in such a rush to give it a spin I promptly mixed up a batch in the car!! (50% 36mg Nic
juice, 40%PG and 10% 23 Flavoring). Now, this mix is DEAD ON for Dr. Pepper BOTTLECAPS, Yep, those little bags of Bottlecaps ya use to be able to get in the movies as a kid..
The Technical BS...
1st DIY Mix:
10% (aprox) The 23 Flavoring
40% (aprox) Propylene Glycol
50% (aporx) Naked 36mg
Device:
DSE901 (with a 'dirty' atomizer, I was on the road and couldn't 'clean' it, I vaped it dry, added some plain PG and vaped that until I could not taste any more flavor. I used a fresh cart filled with the above mix and a fresh battery .)
Results:
Let me first say this, from day one, I have awalys used VG to cut 36mg
juice down to 16ish. This was the first time I ever cut with PG. VG adds a sweet taste to just about everything, not overpowering sweet, but non the less. It is also thick and IMHO makes MAD VAPOR. With this being said.. On inhale, the vapor has a very light 'syrupy' taste on the tip of my tongue. There is a mild hit to it. Now on exhale, this liquid preforms a neat little trick, here is where it cools down in your lungs and on the way out, BHAM! Bottlecaps.. A dead ringer for Dr Pepper Bottlecaps.
Note:
I have noticed with other juices I use with different devices tend to change the taste. I have vaped this in both the 901 and the Dura without any change in taste. Once I got home, I made another small batch using VG the same as above, as expected a bit sweeter, and much more vapor. This is a GOOD all day vape, not overpowering, not super sweet. There is no funny aftertaste. This flavor will stay in my 'day bag' for as long as I can keep it in my stash!
