HI Fellow Vapors

I just got this wooden box mod last week and I just had to do a review on the mod. It is called the skull and a fellow ECF member that goes by WoodWorm makes these mods and his workmanship is absolutely awesom. The one I am reviewing today is his 5V version. It is not a bottom feeder. But if you drip or use cartomizers or the carto tanks you will love this mod. It is about the same size as the Ali'i which is not made any longer. But it fits in your hand perfectly and I have short fingers. You can use 2 rc123a 3v batteries or 2 16340 3.7 batteries and the Skull keeps you at 5 volts even when the batteries are run down to the end. You are at 5 volts until the batteries are dead. But this thing hits like a train at 5v but the best part is it is absolutely cool and I mean cool. But gawd, it fits my hand perfectly. He makes them in VV which I have 3 of them on there way. The guy is located in Poland so it takes about 10 days to get them. He is not doing custom orders anymore but he is a registered supplier and he is going to be listing them on the ECF classys soon. His VV model works sort of like the ProVari. You just press the button to take it up or down by .1. But I just had to show everybody this mod. When I get my VV boxes I will post some pics of them but for now here is what the 5V looks like.

If you ever get lucky enough to catch them for sale on the classys jump on it is all I can say. Also I don't know this guy and he hasn't given me anything. I did this review on my own. After going threw 15 to 20 different mods over the past 9 months I have found the one that I absolutely love. From now on it is just my Skulls and my ProVaries. I will be putting up for sale 4 or 5 of my mods on the classys once I get my VV Skulls. Trust me if you ever see one of these for sale jump on it.

Thanks for reading my review. I just wanted people to know about this mod. If I had known about these mods 8 or 9 months ago I would of saved a lot of money.

That is a nice one. I haven't received any of my VV but I don't think mine will have the display visible because of the skull engraving. But they fit in your hand like you were born with it in your hand. LOL Great mods aren't they.

Seriously? Is that just the box or everything in it as well? I though a custom made box would be way more expensive than that.

No, sorry.

Szczuro, in the thread above, talked about "the electronics used in the Gepetto"...

That's what I was saying costs around $43. If you're a mod builder, and are looking for electronics to use in your device, you can purchase this component.

The Gepetto VV was 90 British Pounds, plus, I believe, 5 pounds shipping.

Very reasonable when compared to a ProVari, or other wood variable voltage mods!
