I'm continuing some research started by this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...able-glycerin-material-safety-data-sheet.html and was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me. How much distilled water per 30ml is typically used to dilute the VG or PG? It is 80%VG, 17% water, 2% flavor, 1% nicotine? I was curious how much water could be used before the integrity of the juice was compromised. Has anyone tried high levels of purified water as a substitute for VG/PG and then used those at a much lower level?

Curious mind wants to know :)

I don't know the exact answer. I think standard PG has about 10% water. Then there is water in the flavoring. You could (and I have) added a few drops of water to juice either to dilute it or thin the juice. I would think that too much water and your atty wouldn't be able to vaporize it. I've only done dilutions to fill one carto though, not 30 ml.

Maybe Kurt or someone in the DIY section would know.
