I'm placing a fairly large MBV order, and noticed since my last purchase they have added a 70/30 VG/H2O option, and I'm curious... I usually vape 80/20 VG/PG, but have been curious about trying distilled water for a while now, and happening upon this option has reignited my quandry...

For anyone who has tried it, how does PG compare to H2O, all else (VG ratio, nic level and flavor etc) equal? Viscosity? Throat hit? Use as a flavor carrier?

I just ordered from velvet cloud vapor and they use all vg but I think I read somewhere that they thinned theirs with a little distilled water. I think they thin it a little to make it wick better in some tanks or clearos where the 100% vg may be too thick. I drip and prefer 100% vg but if mine needed to be thinner I would prefer water to pg, so basically it's just a thinning additive , so while you are diluting the juice with water the benefits from wicking better may outweigh the loss from being diluted, but like I said I prefer 100% Vg and 20 to 30 % diluted seems like a lot, I would get the 100 % VG and then add my own distilled water (cheaper and make more liquid)
Thats my thoughts on it , I am sure some others that have purchased it that way can give a better account of the flavor and throat hit effects

OK, this is what I was thinking... I was/am a diehard RDA user, but recently picked up a cheap hybrid and have stumbled back onto my age old problem of VG juices and genny wicks. I was thinking about trying a bottle just to see... maybe I'll just try adding a small portion of distilled water to some of the high VG juices I buy and see if it helps wicking, and/or mutes flavor at all.

Thats what I would do, I know on strong flavors like Bobas Bounty it shouldn't be a problem just add a little at a time in a small mixing bottle to figure out what ratio you need / like and be sure to mix well, check back and let us know how it goes. I have read about others thinning with distilled water so it seems a pretty common practice.

I too tried Velvet Cloud, but the distilled water dilutes the flavor and throat hit which I did not care for. Great flavor, crummy vape experience. All in the name of thinning a juice to not clog up coils. But I drip, use micro coils, and use cartos so not a problem for me.

I really wish they would make that distilled water addition an option.
