The banner ads and such you mean? I don't really even notice them, to tell you the truth - I've been on the internet so long (like alot of us, I would imagine) that they're just sort of "background noise" so to speak.

There is a suppliers list down towards the bottom of the forum - I'd be more likely to look there for ideas. Also, if you have questions about a particular supplier or product you can always just post it - folks are always glad to help!

Are you talking about the Suppliers forum? Or are you talking about some Google ads (which I don't see because I use Firefox with AdBlock Plus...)? In general, I wouldn't click on any Google ads. Google is not very good at vetting those that purchase those ad spots from them. I have seen rogue antivirus programs (viruses themselves) advertised in Google ads and well as Firefox scam ads (pay for their support...) on the Mozillazine forums (free user to user support for Firefox and other Mozilla programs) where I moderate.

to answer the question quite simply....NO

like others have said check out the suppliers registered on the forum, but that alone doesn't guarantee an easy ride ;)

As a newer vaper, I am suprised that this website allows any vendors who do not have an official website. I see that there are several supporting suppliers that are not professional enough to have a website for forum members to visit, learn about the products, and place orders. In the Internet age, a website legitimizes your existance. I refuse to do business with any vendor who does not maintain an online presence.

Without the supporting vendors, website or not, how do you think the forum stays afloat? $$$. All this isn't free. You can however become a supporting member.

So this forum is less about community/support and more about cash? I would think that anyone competing for vaping dollars online would have a proper website for products, tips and customer service. It appreas, though, that ECF also allots toomuch bandwidth to customer service issues that should be dealt with outside of this forum.

I'd far rather buy from a vendor with an excellent reputation than one with a snazzy website. Sure, some have both, but reputation beats gloss any day.

I do not disagree with your point, but do expect if a supplier is a supporter of this fourm that they should meet some minimum level of online presence. I am not saying there are not decent vendors on ECF, only that those that are elevated to supporting suppliers should meet a criteria that includes a website.

I have purchased devices from manufacturers that are here on ECF, but they have not been allowed to or wanted to be supporting suppliers. If you want to be a superstar in the online world, you best have a website and 'golden' customer service if you want my money.
