Hey Chad, are there any plans to change the top section of the omega to something more like the alpha? I'm waiting on my alpha now, which should arrive today or tomorrow (hopefully, since USPS is unreliable), but I'm really wanting an omega also. As much as I hate to say it, I've become a bit of a fanboy (the only reason I hate saying it is because I think of Sony fanboys and cringe) for your mods and would like to own all of them. However, I don't want to buy an omega now and then see an updated omega release later. It looks and sounds like the way you designed the alpha is superior, and I want to make sure I get the best version possible. Thats the only reason I waited so long to get my SB, which was a year ago, because I'm always worried about version 1 products. Which is contradictory to me ordering an Alpha before they released, but it's so similar to the omega it really seems like it skipped v1 and went straight to v2.

Ha! I got it about 30 minutes ago, and it IS sick! The size compared to my SB is unbelievable. I couldn't help myself and went for 6 volts using protected CR2s from madvapes. Literally the same experience as my SB at 6v. Love it!! I'm using a boge 3 ohm carto and it fires wonderfully every time. If anyone is on the fence about purchasing, do yourself a favor and get one! Bravo Chad, you are truly a mod master! I apologize if I'm overly enthusiastic, I've been vaping it so hard I think I have a nicotine buzz, lol. To everyone else waiting, you are going to be very very happy indeed. Also, the pics don't do the Silver Vein justice, what a nice finish!

Ultrafire Protected CR2/15270 Li-Ion Battery, 3 Volts

Thats the link to the exact batteries.

@upstomp One thing to remember about the BB is it has an optional passthrough. The Alpha does not. Though the Alpha's mechanical switch, with periodic maintenance, will never die. While the BB will last a damn long time, eventually the button will stop functioning. Not to mention the Alpha looks WAY sweeter! All preference though.

Got a black alpha today, very pleased, only problem is that it will cut on in my jeans pocket...or any pocket if I sit. Using a twist tie as an off switch for now...

Could help to notice your background, you currently enlisted in the NAVY? A rubber band will work as well to lock that actuator from depressing while in a tight pocket.
