I was disgusted when I saw this video on YouTube. I'm sure many of you have seen it already, but for those (like me) who were unaware, please watch this video an leave your feedback (which will more than likely be you clicking "dislike" as most have) and hopefully leaving a comment as well.

We have to stop this nonsense. Give your feedback, please. If we don't say something and "big tobacco" still holds the only lobby, how do we stand a chance?

There was an ex FDA head that did an interview a while back that said if you think the FDA is about protecting the health of consumers - you would be very wrong. It has nothing to do with anything. Trust me, he was VERY clear about this in the interview and it had nothing to do with ecigs. I saw the interview before i even looked into ecigs.

The reality is states are NOT happy with e-cigs for ONE reason - TAX revenue. 80% or so of a pack of analogs in NY is TAX. You are talking many, many billions of dollars if people stop smoking them.

The only thing you can do is vote EVERY single person out of office. Much of this will happen anyhow, but a few of the corrupt socialists will stay in.

I remember reading something to the affect that the actual cost of a pack of cigs is something like $1, the rest is tax. Same for gasoline, a HUGE % of that is tax as well. We probably had the tech for electric cars decades ago, they just can't figure out how to tax it, same for e-cigs.

Our choices in America are limited to things that the goverment can tax. Anything else is illegal.

Well, I know the true price is less than $2.00 for certain. i drove through KY a couple of years ago and a carton of ML's was like $28, maybe less. AND that included the fed tax, obviously. This is 100% about money, not safety. Duh.

The report says "some carcinogens found". Ok, let's take a wild assumption this is correct. We KNOW there are over 400 carcinogens of MUCH higher strength in analogs. Does the FDA care? Uh that would be a negative. We are likely talking traces and with not all suppliers...

Simply break down what is in an e-cig and compare. PG, nicotine, and flavor vs. 4,000 chemicals, 400 plus KNOWN carcinogens, AND carbon monoxide. This is 100% fine with the FDA. No problem.

It's awesome how even the Associated Press can do the worst job of reporting possible on this story.

We better not have a discussion of the socialist media and their agenda or will get a stir going, lol. 100% of the media other than Fox is run my left wing radicals. Ever hear them refer to Solinsky? Cris Mathews has referred to him many times - in high praise...It is a book on being a Radical from the 60's. It is their Bible, literally. If you read the book, it is essentially dedicated to "not forget the first radical that created his own kingdom". Guess who these left wing nuts are praising that created his own kingdom as the FIRST radical?? Just take a wild guess. The answer is....drum roll... Lucifer. It is right there on the page of dedication in black and white for anyone to see. Of course they "somehow" fail to mention that "little" fact. If you think it is just a "few" people in media that love this book, you are sadly very mistaken. But back to e-cigs before people get riled up.... LOL.

I remember paying a quarter for a pack of cigarettes. The FDA is protecting the drug companies' interests and the "government's" money (they think it's all theirs). The thing is, they will avoid making laws about it - we can replace congress and the FDA will do whatever it decides to do. They have figured out how to keep us from having any say in anything. While they take our money and use it to implement means to take more of it.

I love the other AP video where they said using e-cigs is more expensive than smoking analogs. The AP needs to do more fact checking and take a remedial math class.

Agenda vs. Truth. This is why i said "I am not so sure" about them lying vs. stretching the truth. At the very least the government and the media could provide an honest opinion and some facts. Will they? Uh, no chance. Is it too much to expect from the mainstream media to do analysis and actual reporting on ANYTHING???

The video is dated the middle of last year - I believe at the time when the FDA tested some e-cigs and notoriously found trace amounts of DEG in one sample. Essentially the report is just repeating selected extracts from the FDA's press release (the most sensational bits) - nothing more, no deeper investigation, no counter arguments. But as a news wire service that's pretty much all AP do I think.

Indeed. If they succeed in killing ecigs it will be for one main reason....tax revenue.
