One day, when I'm rich and famous for reviewing RY4 e-liquids I'll have enough to buy a lovely shiny mod like the apex, however until that time I'll drool over pictures of it and the provari! In my drooling sessions I noticed just what an awesome idea the RES system of the apex was.

Then I got to thinking, why is this only on the apex? Maybe they have a patent on it but I wondered could you just buy this res system and stick it on another P.V? If not, could it not be replicated in a (admittedly quite expensive) new cartomizer design?

As far as I understand it, it's a porous ceramic tank like system which soaks the liquid into the ceramic and through tiny holes feeds the atomiser when air gets drawn through the mouthpiece. why haven't we seen a carto or clearomizer which does this also but which can be got for any 510 or other device? As far as I could tell, you'd never need to by another cartomizer again with this design?

lol...drooling...

I have the Apex Alpha Ultramax and I absolutely LOVE mine. You are right to drool:laugh: The design is gorgeous and the fact that it is a mechanical mod really sold me on it. I really like the RES tank and could not be happier.

I recently got some Empire drips shields and thought that they are a close second to my Ultramax. The ability to load a tremendous amount of juice in them and vape my face off is awesome, plus the 12.99 price tag really put them in reach (especially since I've spent gobs of money on mods :)).

While you are saving up for the Ultra, get a drip shield and at least experience the idea.
