Apex Alpha RES system

I am debating picking up an alpha ultra with res, but is there no way to buy just the deramic filter- in the event of a disaster. I would hate to have a pv that I love and not be able to get parts a ways down the road.

Not to worry, we warranty the RES Assembly for 10 years. The ceramic should not fail unless it's heated to 1500deg+ or taken out and hammered.

my worry is that I break it, and couldnt then expect warranty service. so would like to know what it would then cost to replace just the element.

Good question. We will replace the wick for a nominal fee if it breaks due to an accident. We haven't set the pricing but I'm thinking in the range of $10 to $15 for a new ceramic replacement.
