busardo stated that it won't work on the provari.
anyone else having this issue?

REALLY!......I wanted to get an Aspire just to try with my ProVari! I guess that I'll watch the video and see if it's the airway "cut-outs" that may be the issue with using it with the ProVari. I picked up a couple of HS-G5's, and they don't have the air channels cut into the bottom of the base (like a ProTank 2 has). This makes it unvapable on a ProVari unless you use a 510-510 or 510-Ego adapter on it. Then it looks a little funny that way.

I hated the 'original' Vivi Nova(s). Leaks, looks and marginal performance but mostly leaks. That said, the Aspire version rocks in every way except its dated appearance. For similar performance, check our the sexy sister of this product, the Davide. Widely available now but the best prices I've found have been at Discount Vapers.

I'm curious how it will perform with just 1 coil. These dual coil setups are using too much power for my liking.[/QUOT

You are partially correct. Dual coils with the same rating as a single coil in watts has more heating area than a single coil. Thus creates more vapors and consumes the same amount of power. But, the catch is, since the heating area is more, the wick could withstand more heat since there are more or longer wicks that is why vapers could run them at a much higher temperature (wattage).

They look really interesting. Like the interchangeability with Vivi Novas, but I am going to wait till more stores have them and they have a pyrex option. If the BCC is good, the BDC can only be an improvement. Busadro's video was really good, as usual. The head build is amazing.

Can you use these tanks/tubes with a genuine mini vivi nova base and top?

They just look a like, but not interchangeable except for the plastic tube. Since I am on the subject, I have tried all of them including Anyvape bdc. Anyvape is using the same coil. I don't recommend buying more than one. They all have hard draws. The Protank has it's own design bdc. It is the worse. For me, the best is the Innokin i Clear 30s. Aspire is not really a good design. First of all the heater coil unit is not set deep enough from the inside. I had to machine the mounting hole on bottom of the base 1-1.5 mm for the center pin to stick out more for better contact or connection for all my mods to work. The hard draw I would blame it on the heater coil housing being too small and crowded thus causing air restriction. They could redesign the heating element housing a little bit more spacious internally.
