Just wondering how many attys the average vaper goes through :) I've only been at it for two and a half months, but I've gone through 3 attys, and on my way with a fourth.

My first atomizer was a red one, and it lasted a month a few days, until it wouldn't do ANYTHING. It was cold, cold, cold! My second one (red) died in a day; that was just bad luck! The third one (green) lasted like... three days shy of a month. The fourth one (green) is on its way, then I'm surviving on my cignot.com stuff! Yay! The red/green ones were from the evil mall kiosk from Totally Vapor, but hey at least I got it to last a while. Then again, I was also learning about my PV still so I'm actually surprised I haven't gone through 10 attys!

Atty lifespan is hard to say. I've seen so many different "lifespan" numbers that I just say "the better you take care of it, the better off your atty will be" and carry an extra, just in case :D

I've been vaping since June. Mostly I usee 2.0 ohm LR's. I've had 3 die since I started. 2 were the originals from my 510 kit and not LR's. The other one was the first LR I started using back in July and it bit the dust about a month ago. Since I've lost 3 in about 6 months I'm averaging around 2 months usage out of each one, although I do keep a couple in my rotation at any given time. I never bother cleaning them. I did a dry burn on one when it quit producing decent vapor and it's still in use. I've got a stock of around 25 new ones so I'm set for a while.

I dry burn too, in small spurts when I change a flavor. It is literally clean in a two-second dry burn :D Ooh and having spares is always great, I have three attys as backup :)

I've only lost one atty from the original 6 that I bought back in September. I don't know if that really counts because I killed it by trying to debridge it. I have my atty's blood on my hands. Cold-blooded atty killer, I am.

LOL Yeah that can do it. My second red one was my fault too. i accidentally de-wicked it but it did some MAJOR damage...

No atty deaths to report YET at almost 4 months. I'm sure I'll be attending some "atty funerals" in the future but no idea when as of yet. I cleaned fairly often in the first two months but not so much anymore. None of my atties have been subjected to a dry burn as of yet. I don't drip so no debridging happening here.

My first atty went to Atty Heaven 3 months after I started vaping. Little guy was a trooper. He got to taste numerous juices with me. I miss him terribly. He never let me down. I bought a mod and the little fellow just didn't have the strength to uphold the voltage it put out. He gave out and said good-bye. Nothing will ever compare to him. And I've had alot of atty's since then. LR's usually quit after 2 weeks of very heavy usuage. HV atty's aren't worth a darn either. I've had them last only a few days to a week so far. Standards seem the best to me but still don't compare to my little guy. Standards last a month or so depending on how well they get cleaned. Little guy got bathed every other day so I think that played a big part in his survival for so long. I kept him neat and tidy. Never dry burned him. I would bathe him and let him dry over the computer fan at night. RIP my little guy.

That's how I'm feeling for my green one... It's been through so much!
