Problems with atomizers

Been a while since I been to ecf--there's so many sub forums I don't even know where to post this question. A little out of control if you ask me....

Anywho, I was wondering if anyone else has been having any issues with 901 atomizers?
I bought a bunch from a USA online store & I don't want to give them a bad rap...yet.
They were having a sale on attys so I scooped up a whole bunch in red & green.

Every single green atty I used is garbage. Every single one runs hot, changes the taste of my liquids and often burns my throat.

Reds ones are off & on. I might have one last a week, a couple lasted about a day or two--EACH. I hit one of the red attys ONCE, it made a pop noise and was dead thereafter.


I use a Chuck mod at 6 volts and I'm not some newbie who is burning up my attys or anything like that. Before this awful batch of attys, I've had attys last me 2 even 3 weeks at a time. Wondering if anyone else having issues before I contact the company and go on full rampage considering how much I spent on these useless attys.

Are they SLB marked? I find these to be more reliable. Return them to the seller!

Are they HV Atty's you didnt say they where and your using a 6v mod, if so I understand why there poping and blowing

SLB marked? what does that mean exactly?

HV--heavy voltage? (I don't know most acronyms) I didn't know they made heavy voltage attys. My main point about it is that I had used attys from a well known chinese store that lasted 2-3 weeks on 6 volts.

You got very lucky they didnt pop on you, when using 6-7v you need High Voltage Atty's they change everything, no burnt taste my friend.!!!

On the battery contact side, "SLB" will be engraved if they are made at the original factory.

Where on earth do you get attys made for high voltage devices? I guess I've been away from the boards too long....

I actually don't think there's high volt 901s out there. High volt 510s are readily available but the original Joyes work good also.

ech, a few months ago I had spent waaaaay too much money on searching for gadgets/atty types that would help me quit smoking. I am using what i have and have quit smoking so I have zero interest in buying anything else!

Yep keep it simple! All I use is a 901 manual passthrough and a 510 passthrough and have no desire for anything else.... though an Indulgence looks tempting!

I started vaping 6.0 without realizing how this would affect atomizers. I destroyed 8 before I knew what was going on. Then I ordered some XHV (Ikenvape) and no more problems. This is just too high voltage for a regular 510 atomizer.

I use regular 901 attys on 6V all day long (I vape a LOT about 6 ml a day) and mine are lasting about 2 weeks each, give or take.

I don't think 6V is too much for a 901 if you know what you're doing, and you're careful not to burn it dry.

I've never used a 510, Martha, so I can't say one way or another about those.

Whatagem, I'd send them back. Just MHO.
