The newest Cuboid from joyetech is a real winner when it comes to silly design. In addition to a touch sensitive pad for firing and wattage adjustment, it has touch sensors at the base to turn it on. You have to “clutch” it three times to turn it on, 4 times to activate the menu, etc. It vibrates when it registers the action properly.

Seriously, who needs this? Rather than add these silly features, why not release a mod with a bullet-proof 510, no rattle buttons, a well-designed battery door and a durable paint job?

Well, that would yield a device that never wore out, so they couldn't sell you a replacement?

Just watched a review for it last night, by Vaping Heathen. He's got a red one with flame stickers on it....has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. It looks like a toy I'd get from a Happy Meal back in the 90s.

A Clutch To Make It Vibrate feature. Well with their Ocular they added an mp3 player to appeal to music lovers. Maybe this one is to appeal to a more "adult" entertainment oriented user.

Apparently they can't master the 510 connector or any of those pedestrian fundamental things as they are too busy coming up with entirely ridiculous crap.
