As a matter of fact, I can't get the damn taste out of one of my Bada-Bings. :(

I think thats an issue with the Menthol juice from certain suppliers. I started a thread elsewhere with several complaints coming in regarding the menthol juice. Since there is no way to clean the bada bing you SOL. Only suggestion I have is to try to cook it out with something that you like. It sucks because I'm in the same boat as you. I too purchased the Menthol from PS and it smells like flowers and perfume.

The white stuff looks to be just some sort of glue that holds the filler in. I also found this out the hard way. I pulled the filler out to wash it, and refilled it after putting it back in the cart. I kept noticing a bad taste when vaping so I opened it up and the filler was stuck to the atomizer.

My guess is that since it is suck a large cart, it NEEDS to remain glued in to keep it and the extra added weight of the juice from falling directly onto the atomizer.

If you look close, the cart has no air hole that would allow you to inhale any of the glue. What I have done when I wash my filler is either just flush it over & over with hot water then let it dry over night before refilling it with e-juice OR... If I MUST pull the filler out, after it's all dry, I take a little bit of hot glue and put a little dab in the cart and quickly put my filler back in. This seems to work pretty good.

I thought about hot melt glue but wondered how warm it would get. I also thought about "white out"

I normally "do my laundry" as I call it Saturday mornings when I disassemble my 901 and 402 carts, clean the filling with repeated rinsings, dry them with the paper towel method, steam clean the atomizers and have a party putting all that junk back together. I removed the filling from my first bada-bing today and replaced it with a fairly tight stuffing of Fluval. It seems to work. I had tried doing the same with a less generous Fluval stuffing and it still stuck to the atomizer. With the more generous amount and good moisture control (read this as topping), it seems to be ok.

I still would be happier if I got cores for separate flavors as I enjoy several different ones. (in different strengths so I don't kill myself by my constant puffing - I'm just ran out my second battery for the day - yikes!)

I'll try the hot melt glue solution. Thanks for the tip

On another thread, someone recommended using the same stuff they use to clean ice-makers out to totally clean out your atomizer - sparkly and clean inside and out :D

I would think twice before putting even more foreign chemicals on my atomizer in the bada bing. I'm trying to come up with a way to clean this but I'm still at a loss. Hydrogen Peroxide might work but I dont want to suck on that either. My guess is that you can try to burn off the old stuff, use new carts, and hope the smell goes away over time. My bada bing is sitting dormant right now cause I can't remove the nasty Menthol that I purchased.

Yeah, I was just reading that, however I am unsure about how to clean a cigar atomizer, the battery also fits in the tube with the wiring and such. I don't know if it's safe to submerse the entire atomizer tube, safe to rinse it out, how to make sure everything inside is dry, etc. :(

Kate (of e-cigarette-forum fame) told me in a PM that she had tried to soak them and while it did no damage, it also did no good.

Yeah, I don't think menthol in the bada-bing is wise unless it's all you plan on vaping in it. Maybe have one dedicated to just menthol if you want. I have never had a problem switching flavors in the bada-bing until I hit the menthol. I can't get rid of it. :( I'm even putting marlboro 36 right onto the atomizer and blowing through the led end. I've even hit the "magic" hole at the led end and still can't get rid of the menthol. :(

I really like the bada-bing too. I hope PS gets in a lot of atomizers soon.

I had a wierd situation with 1 of my bada-bing e-cigars. I had it in my pocket in a ziplock bag and was standing between 2 cars mounting and unmounting charger cables and having my neighbour try to start her car. When I got back in my house my bada-bing was super hot and the atomizer fried. I was devistated because the bada-bing was always consistant in vapor production and it was relatively new because I still haven't gotten off analogs yet. So, my summation is that STRONG ELECTRO-MAGNETIC FIELDS SHOULD BE AVOIDED. (I'm never going to carry my bada-bing or any other e-cig in my pocket assembled ever again. Who really knows when you're exposed to strong E/M fields.)

Monk - Please see my post # 48 in this thread. The same thing happened to mine and it was in a pouch inside my purse in my car, nowhere near the car battery or anything like it. My purse was on the seat. If there is an electro magnetic field there, somebody better watch their ... !! I have emailed and PM'd Steve with no reply. Let me know how you make out.

OK, weird... I had mine sitting on my keyboard just now and it did the "HOT" thing as well. I caught it right as it started and quickly took the battery out. I let it sit for a few minutes, put the battery back in, and it didn't do it again. I vaped a bit from it and everything seems fine.

My guess here is that it might have something to do with the little hole you press for cleaning mode. I don't know how sensitive it is, but my guess is that it is also the vac switch during the vaping, therefor making it VERY sensitive. If something gets in that hole, or if some sort of pressure or magnatism gets around it, I think it might be able to get stuck in the cleaning function. I'll keep an eye on this.

My was exactly as hot as you described. I considered mine a loss because my next move was not to contact Steve, but to soak mine in Coca-Cola... I think I lost the warranty by doing that. BTW. the Coca-Cola did not ressurect it... it was fried! I'm hoping to find someone who can maybe fix the broken atomizer. Or a photo posting of how to fix it.

I dont want to soak it in anything. It was only a day old - so I am hoping Steve will take care of it now that he has resurfaced. I will only try those things when it is out of warranty and I have no other choice.

Monk - there is also another thread about this very same thing. Go back out and look at the other thread in the PS subforum. Figurehead and RJG both had some possible fixes.

OK, you all know how I feel about the Bada-Bing from PS, I can't shut up about it. I also know that through my non-stop ranting and raving about the Bada-Bing many of you ordered one on the 20th. I know this because I couldn't get as many as I would have liked to get! LOL!

This here thread is for all of us with the Bada-Bing. I want to know what YOU think of your Bada-Bing. Assure me that I am not crazy and post with your opinions too. That way we can ALL look crazy! LOL!

Welp even with the problems I still went ahead and ordered based on the positives about the Bada-Bing. I love to tinker with things anyways so will be fun.

I thought at first I never would go this far with vaping. I only planned to use disposables but am growing fond of these toys. Also with the uncertainty of these products I thought best to stockpile some goods.

I am still a noobie at it I have a lot of stuff on the way from various suppliers so will be nice to experiment with my juice flavors etc....

Anyways I bought over $100 of Bada-Bing & PS toys does that get me in the club :D
