the good news is i have officially joined the CLUB!! YAYYYY!!! the bad news is my bada-bing was dead on arrival , i posted a thread in the Technical issues forum but basically i get no air flow at all through the atomizer , it's like sucking on a pencil , i can get the end to lite up using the paperclip technique but no vapor... sad.... no warranty... is it worth buying a replacement atomizer? seems like everyone is out of stock...

unless there is a fix for this problem i'm afraid i'm bada-bing-less

i ordered a couple of these suckers yesterday, im hoping to get a little more out of my battery life. i think the 2 i got with my bing kit were bad. they came already charged which usually worries me.

id post a link, but apparently i cant because i havent cracked the 15 post limit yet lol.

so go to batteryjunction.com and look up UltraFire 10440 AAA Li-Ion 3.6V Rechargeable

instead of a 360mah rating these have a 500. the voltage and size should be the same, so they should just hold a longer charge.

i'll update when they get here and let everyone know. for the price and the chance of them lasting that long we're lookin at a great deal here.

woot! got my batteries in today, they fit and they fire up the bing! since all rechargeable batts come with at least a little charge on them i was at least able to test and all is well.

at least all is well with the batteries...i think i finally killed my first bing. my woodgrain model ive been vaping since 3/26 isnt working anymore. i tried washing it out with warm water, blowing through it during the process, let it dry for over 24 hrs yada yada.

at first i put the battery (one of the original batts) and set the bing in my lap while i topped off a cart. to my surprise i started to feel heat on my leg and noticed my big was about to go super nova. i quickly removed the battery and let it cool down. once it was cool i tried vaping with it, but it was like trying to suck a baseball through a straw.

oh well, good thing i have back ups :D

ha! you can count on a couple of chargers being part of my next order along with more of those batteries. what still baffles me is that the cigar kit i orginally ordered came with 3.7v batteries, and every other kit ive seen thats identical to mine, came with 3.6v batteries. always thought it was kinda strange.

picked up some cart filler yesterday, now im totally self sufficient on my e-smoking needs until i need to order more juice. and ive made myself a handy little carrying case for my goods.
found a nice solid eyeglass case at walmart, slapped some foam in there and made cut outs for an extra bing atomizer and 2 carts. one of my own pre-filled carts usually lasts me about a day or so and ive been carrying around an extra battery this whole time in an empty cart casing. its nice being able to keep an extra atomizer, cart and battery and not feel like i need to carry a purse for all this stuff. couldnt find the foam i wanted to use for now so i found some that would do for the time being.

if i can find out what my fiancee did with the camera i'll take pics when i finish the case properly.

They seem to be better than the originals. I have been using them for about 2 weeks. I got them from xtremedeal. I also got a charger from them that charges 2 batteries at a time. Seems to work OK. Shipping was $0.01

I have had two atomizers for my Bada-bings die, each in less than a week. The first lasted about 5 days then was sent back for warranty, the replacement was also dead after 4 days (no warranty because they say it must be user error since they test all of their products first).

Some background, I used the 2 carts first that came with the kit, then washed and refilled the carts with about 12-20 drops of liquid (all from PS). Vaped that way until the carts were showing some loss of flavor, then refilled again. Probably only used it about 4-6 hours a day. Never dripped, kept batteries out of atomizer when not in use, so no supernova. Kept the cart on the end though, usually stored flat. I used mainly the same techniques with my 401's (did drip those) and haven't had an atomizer die in almost 2 months use.

Any one seen this happening? Since I like them so much when they worked, I picked up 5 more atomizers from another site, which are working well. I just don't want to run through all 5 in a month.

thanks - kevin

I decided to use some of my other new products for a week and now getting back around to my BB. I just cleaned out my cart (rinsed all pieces and dried them then dripped a generous amount of Pina Colada) and man after a week without the Bada Bing its nice to be back :D

This has got to be the best designed product on the market. I am still cleaning & using the first cart and have 12 fresh ones not even opened LOL. At this point Im not even going to consider a screw driver till my BB's all die and I have 2 BB's so its going to be a while I hope.

Really a bummer to read all of the troubles here with this product. I will have you all know I was at a Pilot gas station and bought the N-joy and its like a mini version of the BB so I was so excited to give it a try and I now know what the bad luck feels like. My N-joy atomizer is defective.

Half the time it doesnt even work I have tried everything to get it working.

I plan to try and exchange the unit at the gas station next time I go by that way in couple of weeks. I was looking so forward to the Njoy it looks just like a smaller version of the BB.

Anyways I love the BB if you get working units take good care of them they are the best vapor kit I have tried.

FYI I dont know much about the BB but I am afraid to press that little cleaner button I just rinse things out and use a wet cue-tip to clean the atomizer. I think I will save that cleaner button as a last resort.

I have 2 dead ones now, but one of my 1st black ones is still going like crazy, and my woodgrain one is still a monster as well. I want to get the gold one.

Honestly, even if they only lasted 2-3 weeks they would still be a great deal at only $22 an atomizer tube.

BTW, the 2 i have that died actualy fried when I was using the little reset button. I would suggest pressing it as a last resort, only if washing them doesn't help.

ive had 5 BB's.

the first was the woodgrain...it worked like a champ until i tried the washing it out method. that was about a week ago, ive tried it a few times since and it wants to light up but just cant seem to do it. it really makes me sad :(

i have 4 black tubes that were actually sent to me by the company i had purchased the woodgrain model from. i had originally ordered the black model, but received a woodgrain. when i emailed the supplier they graciously sent me TWO black tubes and didnt even ask for the woodgrain back. (im leaving their name out because i felt that their customer service was so good that i dont want anyone to try and take advantage of them.)

so, the first 2 black tubes they sent...the copper ring that holds the cart fell out of both almost immediately. so after another email, they sent TWO more black tubes. 1 was DOA, atomizer wouldnt heat up at all. probably just a short in the wiring too but you cant take these things apart to fix them.

i found a good epoxy that didnt have any warnings about inhaling fumes and rebuilt the ones that fell apart and they are all vaping strong. big clouds of tasty vapor. also, try getting a small drill bit and open up the tips of your carts a little more. talk about a kick in the lungs.

the BB is my first e-smoking device and i couldnt be happier with my choice, even with the defects that i went through. i have a friend with a N-Joy model and he speaks very highly of it, although we have yet to meet up and compare my BB against his N-Joy.

the BB gets my approval without a doubt especially now that i got some longer lasting batteries :D

EDIT: just after posting this i decided to try and fire up my woodgrain again and its working better. seems like it needs a harder pull, but its starting to produce good vapor again. maybe i should give it another bath and let it sit for another week.

Has anyone tried charging these with the bada-bing charger? I received 4 of these batteries, attempted to charge them with the bada-bing charger and none of them are producing any power. Do I need to purchase the charger especially for them?

thanks,
kevin

i have 4 of the dealextreme 10440 and i have used the charger with them...charged no problem.

make sure on the "-" end of the battery you trim off a little bit all the way around the blue shrinkwrap of the battery so that the "-" end of the battery makes contact with the spring inside the body of the e-cigar

That was it. They were charging fine, but the blue shrinkwrap wasn't getting contact in the atomizer tube. Trimmed it up and it seems to be working nicely.

Thanks asidrave.
