So I have this problem when I get into something I go full bore into it , and I talk a lot about it, my hubs try s to understand for he would rather I vape than smoke ciggs . He is very supportive but there comes a point where you have to talk about something else, I'm to that point but I just so damn excited about new flavors and my progress with laying off analogs I don't even smoke a whole pack now. In the last two weeks I went from a pack and a half to under a pack a day. [emoji1]
I have my wish list ready to go for the first when I get my paycheck for another order of juice from EC blends and I have a flavor that I love from alt cig waiting too, all I need now are a f eww more kanger pro tank minis and I'm set. Gosh I just can't wait .

I just need to talk about it with people who are into it like I am and won't roll there eyes or say you've already said that.
Thank you for listening

You're in the right spot Lilag!! :)

I "get it" it's just like you don't "girlfriend chat" with your husband, that's what girlfriends are for! we can't expect our mates to be our everything that's asking for failure and disappointment and why would you want to?

if you have a B&M locally I encourage you to drop in there..I often don't buy anything (although we do try to support them of course with anything they have that we need we get from them) but just to socialize and be excited about vaping together.

I'm happy you're quitting..keep up the great work!!

we're here. :)

I went from smoking for 30 years to vaping but I was never a dual habit I pitched the cigs the day I bought my rig and never looked back it has been the best decision of my life and quite honestly my new addiction/hobby is more fun and 1000 times healthier for me. My wife is tired of all my vape talk but I'm so passionate about it because if it can work for me it can work for anyone. I have been over 400 some odd days without an analog and will never light one again. I went from researching this for 3 years before making the switch to over a year of analog free to now I hold classes on coil building and wicking techniques on Sundays for my friends B&M shop in my city. I am like a partner in his business, I'm the tech guy and the R&D guy so I vape for free and enjoy helping others on their journey I've been nicknamed the PiedPiper of vaping by our clients. I don't claim to know it all but if someone has a question be sure I'll tap into a network of vapers and find them an answer. Don't worry you're not alone it is a common theme among the vape community we need to be all in or it isn't going to work and the reaper analogs will win ECF is like the AA for former smokers and newly converted vapers we're here to lift each other up and put up with the need to be passionate about our new lifestyle choice those that haven't struggled with our fight wouldn't understand. We are a giant ever growing family that spans multiple continents and I have yet to come across someone that has been harsh or rude whether on here or on the streets so welcome to the family and chat it up until your hearts content there are plenty of very knowledgeable folks here that are always willing to lend a hand with your questions and needs.

I thought my wife was going to kill me and she Vapes too. Lol she even got to the point that she told me unless I had something to say that was not vape related she did not want to hear it. Needless to say we did not talk for like a week. Lol I stayed on here and read and talked to people with the hopes of getting it all out of my system. I have chilled out over the year. It is getting better and now she talks about it more. Lol

LOL! My son had the same problem with me when I started vaping back in 2011. "God, Mom, you're OBSESSED!"

I've settled down now, but lemme tell ya, when you walk into a vape store and you can listen to the sales clerk and silently think 1) Wow, this guy really knows his stuff or 2) God, what a load of blarney...these people will sell anybody anything! that obsession pays off!

Welcome, El - and anytime you feel like talking vape, this is a great place to do it!

It took me about five months to stop talking about electronic cigarettes all the time.
But it only took my wife about two months to get completely tired of me talking about electronic cigarettes all the time.

And now, some five years later, I still talk about electronic cigarettes a lot.
But now mostly in the context of the ANTZ, hypocrisy, Big Pharma, and Big Government.

She is starting to really understand, although I'm not sure that she isn't still tired of it all.

I know what that's like! My wife doesn't like it when I talk about ecigs. She doesn't really like it when I speak at all. She put me on a 100 words a daily limit shortly after our honeymoon 25 years ago. About 80 of those words are dedicated to keeping her up on the news and other essentials but the remaining 20 are all mine. Sometimes I just say "fart" over and over because she hates that word almost as much as she hates actual farting. I eat a lot of chili.
