Where on earth are you getting your "information" from? If that is your personal experience from vaping 100% PG, that is fine. Just say so.

I vape 100% PG, 18 mg, unflavoured, 4-5 ml per day. Other than the typical getting started adjustments from smoking to vaping, I have had none of the problems you state will occur. After that, the only irritation I experienced stopped when I stopped using flavours. There was no increase in harshness when I switched from 30% VG to 0%. From my research, I have found no indication that PG is any more dehydrating than VG. Cartos have never leaked for me, and any problems I've had with clearos seem to be typical of some clearos. I don't get a lot of vapour, but more vapour than smoke from a cigarette. I have no need for, or interest in, producing great clouds. It may be that you personally are allergic to PG, as some people are ... in the same way that some people are allergic to VG.

100% pg juice will

A) dry your sinuses immensely - sore throat

B) be very harsh

C) quite possibly cause every carto/tank/device you own, to leak as it is very very very thin.

D) produce little to no vapor what so ever.

the most pg i would vape in a juice, is 70% and at that, its still to harsh for me.

yes its from personal experiance.

if i was alergic to PG, i would have ben dead years ago with the amount of PG added to foods and shampoos and what not - i drink mio every day, MIO is flavor carried in PG.

i drink over 2 gallons of water daily - very hydrated person.

"the most pg i would vape in a juice, is 70% and at that, its still to harsh for me." - that was said, as i had to add VG to thinken up juice since it would leak out of all my tanks(before tinkering with wicks - keeping every item "stock") and at that it was very harsh as stated. also at that time, it was 0mg. so the TH i was experiencing was defiantly caused by the PG.

maybe im crazy, but i dont think im the only one with these issues.

Here are the various differences between PG and VG that I have come across over the years...

1) VG produces more vapor
2) VG is thicker than PG
3) PG allows more flavor through
4) PG allows more throat hit through
5) PG has better germicidal properties
6) More people could have slight allergies to PG vapor
7) Too much VG causes increased phlegm in some people

The first two above are definite facts.
The rest are more than likely true based on my five years reading this forum.

In my past three months of vaping I've experienced some allergies. I broke out in a rash on my abdomen for a few weeks that required cortical steroids to get under control, but I still have it to some degree. I was under the impression from talking to friends that it was a reaction to the PG. I'm going to try some 50/50 juices next to see if that helps it go away.

You are definitely not crazy, I cut all my juices with VG anything over 50PG is too harsh for me, VG gives me that nice mellow hit...

Hello all,
I was just curious if there were any benifits to an all PG fluid. I have had some issues with heartburn, so I tried am all VG fluid from Virgin Vapors that did not seem to help so I was thinking about trying 100 percent PG. Any advice ?
Thank You
Scott

More than likely it is the flavorings causing this and not the pg or vg.. Try some other flavors or no flavor and see what is going on. I have had that happen with some juices and as soon as I realized what it was and got rid of them, everything was fine again.

I agree with Doots, some flavors make me feel like my chest is going to explode from heartburn and others have no effect like that at all. I've gotten the hang of which juices will do it and which wont. The ratio of PG/VG doesn't seem to have the effect that certain flavors do. I've found that difference even with different tobacco flavors.

Just my experience.

VG gunks up my sinuses. I vape straight PG unflavored with nic. I prefer not to have clouds. Vaped on 24 hour flights+layovers with no attention drawn. I don't need clouds. There is plenty of vapor if I want it but I like being able to control how visible it is. You can't do that with VG. VG is too sweet for me. To each their own.
