It all boils down to what kind of flavors do you like. It's pretty much personal preference. There are tons of flavors out there, and some sites have sample bottles you can try. For me, I like the lighter friut flavors, like strawberry banana. I also like some soda flavors too, like cherry cola.
That is something you really will have to discover on your own. There are such a wide range of juice types and flavors that you will be able to find many different opinions. Besides taste is subjective and only you can decide what you like or dislike.
Have you tried any flavor yet? If so what ones. What did you like and not like about them? Do you want something light and refreshing? Do you like tobacco flavors? There are literally hundreds of different flavors out. Then you have to find the ratio of PG/VG you like. Any combination of both to only using one of them is another thing to consider.

And you're spot on with personal pref, I'm a tobacco flavors person, but your taste changes as you move furtar away from smokes and vape for a while, my current ADV is Royal Blend from vapeking.com.au

I tried the reg cig flavors, and I just didn't like them. My first flavor was a cinnamon flavor and I loved it. Right now, I am vaping orange sherbet. Tomorrow, I am going to vape blueberry. I tend to rotate my flavors every 2 days or so. It's a good change ratio for me.

Oh man that is an impossible task. Very subjective. I'd say at first maybe tobacco. But you would want to move to something else. I moved from tobacco the first week. I would answer what flavor to move to with a question. What flavors do you like. They have thousands. i know. They have bacon, Kopi Luwak (cat poo coffee), you name the fruits, Pastry, cheesecake. The thing is you will have to go down the road we all went. Buy little bottles of ones you might like, get a sample package. I would not get anything above 10ml. Below if possible.

Oh be careful about boiling stuff if it has a lot of sugar in it then it will foul up a wick and carbonize on the element in the atty.

As some others have already stated, it all depends on what type of flavors you like and most vendors offer sample packs for fairly reasonable prices. Don't make the same mistake I did and simply judge by description. I remember when I first started vaping there was a few 30ml bottles that I ordered without trying first and ended up in the trash. One I my personal favorites for a a fruit/dessert type is Papa Smurf form Flavorz by Joe. Most of joes juice is pretty good.
The pink spot offers a sample pack that you can choose 6 flavors.
Also if you have any local shops in your area you can usually try before you buy.
Keep an open mind on flavors. I have found I like fruity flavors a lot and I would never have guessed that.
