Hello all, 2 weeks analog free and it feels great. I'm hoping some of the more advanced people on here can shove some knowledge down my throat. I was "suckered" into buying a v2 cig kit from reviews, and guess what, I LOVE it. The taste the ease, and even the style. Now as much as I like this kit I do wish I had a larger battery, but at the same time I like the cartos. I know most people like the egos, and the only down side is the look and size. Well to me that doesn't matter, to me what I think would matter is how easy the kr8's are to use, and fill. Now forgive me if this is somewhere buried in what looks like the largest forum on the Internet. My question is can I have both? Is there something like an ego that will still allow me to use prefilled, and refilled carts. I would like to continue to use my v2's when going out for a few hours, but also have an ego for an all day vape, without having to worry about having the wrong set up with the wrong battery. To me it seems the all in one cart is easier than an atty setup, and maybe I'm wrong. The best part of the past 2 weeks is that I'm a chef, and now I don't have to walk off my line 2-3 times during a dinner service to get my nicotine fix. I'm sure you guys will set me straight on this, thanks for any and all help!

Congrats on the analog free!
With ecigs you have soooo many options, it can get overwhelming. I think it comes down to what type of thread you are using...ie 510 or 801, etc. I don't know what thread type the V2 uses, but I know the EGO batteries with the 510 connectors can use cartos, atty's, mods....It all depends on what you like and look for the "510" if that is your battery thread.
I am sure someone with more experience here will point you to some other posts on ECF that will help. Keep up the vaping. It has been 107 days analog free for me!

Welcome to ECF and congrats! The eGo style of PV would be a great choice for an all day vape. Like your current device the kit that I have linked below is a two piece unit (battery / cartomizer). As you already know very easy to fill and refill but the batteries will last much longer with the Riva. The general rule of thumb is: 100 mah = approx. 1 hour of vaping.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

Oh yes! There's actually quite a few bigger battery KR808 models on the market right now. I personally have a 1300 mAH Echo, but there are some other options out there as well. You've got the iGo which is pretty much the manual version of the Echo. There's the Riva 901 which will work with KR808 cartomizers. And finally there's the new KR808 eGo. I'm not sure if there's any other big batt 808s out there, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

If you really love your current KR808 cartos, there's no reason you can't stick with them. When I upgraded, I also loved my little Volt cartos so I stuck with the same threading. It's worked out great for me. I can use the Volt cartos when I want, mega 3mL Echomizers and now the 808 tank. There's really no need to jump over to 510 unless you're planning on stepping into mod territory. I think 510 used to be the sure bet with accessories, but I think KR808 is really making strides as of late.

So even with the cones I can still stick a kr808 carto on them? That sounds great, but now I'm thinking the cart won't last half the Time as the battery lol. I'll tell you the more I look the more I think I should just go with a big battery big tank kit. I've been reading a lot on here and I'm seeing a lot of ego-c and Leo talk. Since I will be filling my carts anyway is it crazy to just go with one of these systems and still keep my v2 for the few bar nights? The one thing I will say is after getting off work and winding down with drinks I do feel the urge to grab an analog, I don't know if it's the battery not giving me the satisfaction, the mind trick that I'm not "truly"smoking, or maybe it's just a need of higher nicotine level cart/juice for those times. let me say that I am vaping 18mg, and I have pulled out a fully charged battery and cart and still not been satisfied while having a Booz buzz and that's what worries me the most since that's the time I would reach for an analog over any other time. So I know I'm asking for a lot but what would you recommend? The only thing that worries me is leaking and failure when I need it most, and having something that will last me a good amount of time. Having a nicotine failure in the middle of a dinner rush would really hurt my head, no time to run to a store and grab smokes.
So sorry for the long post, but I want my next purchase to be a great one, no matter what. Give me your opinions everyone!!!
Ego-c/ego-t, the Leo with that huge ... cart, tank, cart, provari (tho it really seems over my head), or just stick with my v2 setup, any option you think would be good for my situation. The only thing I wouldn't want is something built out of a box or crazy stuff like that. Again thank you for all your help everyone!!

I'm not familiar with PVs with the 808 threading as I only use 510 threading mods, but with an adapter you could still use your cartos with a 510.

This is a good, sturdy mod with a large battery for a good price. It's battery will last about 11 hours.
KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

Or, this also would be an option.
E-Power From Smok Tech and HECS

The Provari would also be an excellent choice if you would like to try Variable Voltage. They are not complicated to use, last forever, hold their resell value, and might well be the last PV you ever buy.
