ok.......(deep breath)..:glare:...someone please provide me with battery, atomizer, cartomizer information. please use words that a complete :censored:.......... would understand. i have searched and read and read and searched until my head literally hurts....all i want is to know what batteries go with what atomizer/cartomizer, and the links to buy the batteries. please please provide the links :?:

i have a silver bullet, and i am currently using 18650 and i guess i am vaping at 3.7v...could be wrong, but i think that is what is going on. i bought this....AW LiFePO4 RCR 123 3.2 Volt 500mAh

SiteDelux

said it would fit 18650 precise....well it sure fit alright, it also blew my boge cartomizer, AND a 306 atomizer...WTH.

i really would like to experience the higher voltage vaping, 5v and 6v without ruining my equipment would be ideal.:?:

someone please help,

Batteries come in 3.2 or 3.7 volt. using a single battery you're vaping at 3.7. If you stack batteries and your mod allows you could get 6.4ish, or 7.4ish. If you have a fixed battery mod you'll need to match the ohm rating with the voltage, higher volts require higher ohms or you will blow them or get a very hot or burned vape.

What exact volt/atty combination you use is preference but most like to stay somewhere around 8 watts. You can use the calculator at the link below to figure out the watts you get from different combinations.

You can't stack batteries to get 5 volts without the mod being regulated. If your wanting to try out different voltages I'd HIGHLY recommend getting a variable volt mod, that way you don't have to worry about matching batteries and you sweet spot will most likely fall somewhere in between what you can get with an unregulated mod.

Well here is a not so accurate rule of thumb . Take the ohms and add 1 to get the voltage you can use it at . For example 2ohm carto or atty use in the 3 volt to 4 volt range . 3 ohm carto or atty use the 4 volt to 5 volt range . 4 ohm carto or atty use in the 5 volt to 6 volt range . Like I said not very accurate but you can use it as sort of a guide .

HV (High Voltage) Atomizers If you go there..Isaac does tell you in the descriptions...at what volts you can use thhe attys. For five volts you can try these batts IF they wil fit your PV..5 Volt NIMH 600mAh Battery for The Meglodon Those are the same size as an 18650

And these....5 Volt NIMH Battery for The Mako Maksi

are the same size in dimensions as the 14650 battery, for 5vvaping.

The NiMH battery really needs a different charger than the one used for li-ion batteries. And it is actually closer in size to the 18650 than the 14650. Check out MadVapes NiMH Batteries and Chargers

Good1 Tom.

Just remember tiffytiff, "voltage squared divided by resistance". That's all you need to know other than, of course, the atty ohms (resistance) and the voltage.

So the two 3.2's and a say 2.0 ohm carto (6.4 volts total)2 / 2.0 ohm = 6.2 x 6.2 / 2 = 19.22 watts = poof. (normal range is around 4 - 8 watts per coil)

If you memorize that equation, you'll know if any combo works. The size of the battery determines if it can actually deliver the voltage under load (provide the amps without voltage sag).

I vape at 5 volts and use authentic joye 3.0 ohm atties (8.33333333 watts).

Good Luck!

The links I provided are for two different 5V batts, they sell two sizes...one resembles 18650 and one resembles 14650 in size.

oh my, i checked my "stash" and the highest ohm anything i could find were 3 ohm boge cartomizers, so i tried them with the 6v, OH SNAP! i now know that ohm wasnt really high enough, but i didnt blow either cartomizer, i loaded 2 with two different flavors. sigh............ahhMazing i vaped myself stupid for 5 hours.
i did order the 5 volt batteries.
now i just need to invest in some 4 ohm attomizers.
i more quick question, the 5 volt batteries did not say they were protected, but did say nimh, i think i read somewhere they were relatively safe in comparison. can anyone enlighten me on the 5v batteries that fit the 18650 from electronicstix. i also bought the special charger for the battery. here is the battery 5 Volt NIMH 600mAh Battery for The Meglodon

THANK YOU AGAIN ALL! i'm starting to get it!

4.8 volt NiMH battery at 3.0 ohms is 7.68 watts. Nice. That's the same size as an 18650 battery. IDK about the electronicstix device tho. NiMH aren't protected in the battery. The charger usually has the protection for use while charging, but the batteries are different from LiIon and don't need that type of protection (as far as I know). They charge quicker too.

Always use that special charger for it.
