Fatty, plus batty.... equals Pipe mod. This has been floating around in my head for more than a minute... I wonder how red tape and youtube vids fit together for legal issues. "I posted it b4 it came out" doesn't" seem like a valid legal standpoint. not to knock your diy endeavors.
You are correct. the Pipe mod isn't exactly the intelectual property that i am trying to protect. I created a wicking system that is not used anywhere by anyone that I have seen so I want to poor-man patent it first before releasing the DIY tutorial.
Gonna guess passthrough type ego, that charges from the other side... just a guess though.

Not to funny if folks are destroying there ego batteries doing this. I kinda doubt it would be very hard to get the tube off since the finish on a ego is polished. But if anyone needs to borrow a air chisel i have one here. If that dont work i have the trusty sledge hammer standing by.

He just said that he was going to patent it (and if it comes out good then he definately should) what i was laughing is the combo of him saying he was going to patent it and then when everyone responded saying "Ummmmm you can't charge this mod" that was the silly part. but it's not that he made a mistake it was just the back to back thing made it funny for me. Sorry wasn't trying to offend.
Not offended one bit. Personally i would think it was funny if it was just him. I just worry about other folks messing up there stuff. Almost tempted to getto weld( AKA JB weld) a copper pipe to my ego to see how hard it is going to be to get it back off. There is also the question of is copper safe to use when in constant contact with Ejuice. I know copper will leach if the ph is below 7. But you have other things to consider also like what does menthol and other flavors do to copper. Seems like stainless steel and gold are the only two metals that most people can agree are reasonably safe to use when in contact with Ejuice. Since i am on a roll here he also mentions you can purchase the sparkle paint as a option. I dont know that kinda seems like advertising to me. This is the modders forum not the suppliers forum. Seems like it is in violation of forums rules by posting in here things you can purchase.
no i am pretty sure he posted in the right forum. he also said he was going to do a how to once he gets it patented. he was just saying that, for those that don't have the ability or time, he was willing to sell them.
Copper is safe it is used for drinking water piping everywhere.
The tube pops right off. Like i said in the video. the MOD isn't perfect.
The patent refers to the wicking system on the Fatty mod not the tube mod. The tube does indeed pop right off. I should have warn people to use very little sealant. Coming to think of it I did say use just a little sealant. Man, gotta be careful when making these video's. People either don't pay attention or I am not being very clear.
Thats a good argument , but one we dont vape water. Also there are alot of concerns about copper pipe, low ph will cause it to leach. Two you are putting it in a heated environment. Maybe it is safe and the amount of copper people will be getting in there systems will be below the EPA's safe limit for copper toxicity .

I appreciate your concern. However, there is no need to get people in any sort of alarm about copper. EVERYONE YOU ARE PERFECTLY SAFE USING COPPER IN YOUR MOD's.
You also make a goo...well actually you don't make a good arguement but, I still appreciate your concern for everyones health.
Copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repair injured tissues, and promote healing. Copper also helps to neutralize "free-radicals" which can cause severe damage to cells.
What concerns me is you threw up a link to a copper toxicity article on wikipedia which means you did, at least, a little research. So, you probably also saw the many benifits of ingesting copper but for some reason you didn't post a link to that. So, I am going to assume you are just in the mood for some constructive are possibly destructive debating or possibly you just want to argue. I don't know.
Got a trivia question for you. What is Copper, lots of Heat, Vegitable Glycerin, Propolyne Glycol, and Concentrated Flavoring used for?
They are used to make candy. Copper pots are best for candy making due to there great ability to dispurse heat.
Got another trivia question. What two metals can we find in our Electronic cigarette that have the same toxicity of copper?
It's nichol and chromium. Put them together and you have Nichrome. What is Nichrome? That is what your coil is made of. How hot does the coil get? I don't know but it glows red when burns dry.
How hot did my tube mod get, slighlty above room temp. So feel free to suck on all the pennies you want.
