Ok Everyone, Single or dual coil build? I have tried several of both and personal I think im going to be a single coil man. as far as flavor goes I see no difference, I have run singles on my Elvt with an ITaste VF and a dual coil on my panzer black hawk clone. I have also run a single on my panzer. I really like the single. vapor, flavor, and batteries life. what do you all think?

I use both dual and single though I don't rebuild. And I also find that the boost to flavor (still a minor boost for me) and increased juice requirements and decreased battery life make single coils more practical for me. Besides with kanger singles I can at least replace the flavor wicks which increases the life of them slightly and is pretty much as close to rebuilding as i'm comfortable with lol. I swear I will try building my own one day though.

Battery life means I have to pull a bat out and put it on the charger, no big deal for me.

I do have a 26650 and with a .5 orchid it`ll go for just about two days and two or three 4ml tanks before it gets down to 3.7 or so. No biggy to me, Gotta get another bat for it though, LOL. I don`t like charging overnight but I do it for this one as it does take awhile to charge.

FWIW, I prefer duals. Extra vapor means thicker vapor and thicker vapor means more flavor.

Gotta go build a Veritas now, :?)

My favorite atomizers (for now, things keep changing, LOL) are TINY LITTLE THINGS - so I'm getting flavor intensity and a pretty warm thick vapor from a single. I know you CAN build a dual in a Cyclone (for instance) but I don't think it would improve the vape - not for ME, anyway. I'm still fiddling with variations of the single - gonna try a couple more wraps with 29 gauge, gonna try another spaced-out coil, etc. I've got just one atomizer that I specifically chose to be run with duals (an RM4, which is a bottom-feed Atomic clone).

Some say single, some say dual, others say quad. Me, I went simple. Tesla coil. Put the juice in my mouth and just inhale after hitting the button.

As has been said it depends on the atomizer and personal preference.
What type and gauge wire you use can also play a huge role in what you prefer.

I've played with lots of wire types and gauges and as for type I stick to kanthol as its dirt cheap (just ordered a 38 foot roll for $5) and for gauge I've found I like 28 gauge for most of my builds.

I love running twisted or parallel 28g for both single and dual coil builds.

I've done quad coils and find them to be a big pita and they don't generally seem to perform any better.

The only thing I run a plain old single coil on is my RTA but that may soon change because I'm going to experiment when my roll o wire shows up.

I've been absolutely loving small chamber atties the past couple of months. Thick, dense, flavor! I mainly use a dual coil A6/RM3, but started with and still like the single coil RM2. A cyclone is definitely on the list to try in the future.
