Happy new year everybody!!!, Thanks guys for posting Pics, glad you got them so quick. If you have any questions or help with anything there is that support number on our site if you need it.. The only maintenance thing i would like to bring up is just a light (like barely any) oil (like olive) on the slide covers rails and ball groove when it gets less smooth to open/close. I see a few posts i should reply to, and my pm box has stuffs in it... but...umm... i'm not hungover... however, I still an't in the greatest of shape!!! I may need a few showers / cups of coffee before i get to posting....

Sahilm, I believe your friend is mistaken. There's no way that two 18350's will fit in the BB. There just isn't room.

I agree that it would be cool for some future "Bigger Billet Box" to support 18350's - and perhaps with the additional space created for those batteries, throw in a more versatile regulation circuit (like a DNAxx!).

But honestly battery life has not really been a problem with the BB as-is. I have not done any specific testing comparing the BB with my other (fairly popular model) stacked-16340 tube mods, but based on my experience so far I will venture to guess that the BB regulation is slightly less efficient than that tube mod. With the tube mods, a battery swap out was usually required at the end of a work day; with the BB I usually have to swap out batteries mid-afternoon. Even so, the BB and spare set of batteries easily gets me through the entire day.

Dear Vapian , Good day to you and thank you for the clarification , surprisingly i showed this post of yours to my friend who owns the bb , he insists that he has the " AW 18350's " in his mod and they do fit like a glove . he said he could not get the protected 18350's in it tho ..Now im confused ... lols , what 18350 batteries were you trying " AW's !!! .
Maybe Doug sir will also throw some light on the same issue -:) .
best wishes
Sahil .

I can indeed fit 2x IMR 18350's in my BB and tested them out while I was in a Skype chat w/ Sahil. However, I also purchased some IMR 16340 batts and currently have them in now. You know: Just to be on the "safe" side :vapor:

If you say you did it, then I guess you did it . . . but that means you either got the Tardis version of the BB that's bigger on the inside, or (what I more strongly suspect) those batteries are not to specification or are mislabeled.

The battery cavity of my BB measures 33.75 mm wide. Any two 18350 AW IMR Red label batteries I measure together are about 36.20 mm.

I have aw imr 18350s and they do NOT fit in the BB...hehe I tried. Hope that helps you.

I am going to guess Vapian is correct. The size has to be different because there is no way they will fit in mine. I had my BB before I had the correct batteries located and I tried (one more than one occasion ) to get mine to fit in. I so wanted them to fit. You have no idea how badly. :)

Hoping Ogre's shows up for him today. He has a show this afternoon and he is dying to show it off. Seeing Jason's on VapeTV the past few days made his excitement grow.

Vapian, you are correct on this assessment!

I double-checked my AW batts a 2nd time (this time w/ a magnifying glass) and I indeed misread them. They aren't 18350's but 16340s. My mistake! I could have sworn they were 18350 batts! Just to make sure, I even lined them up next to my eFest 16340s and they are the same size. I then lined them up with a few pairs of protected li-ion 18350 batts and the girth differential is as you stated: They are a bit wider.

I have some Efest IMR 18350's coming in the next few days. I'll have a final determination at that time with photos.

Sahil...this isn't over yet man *crosses fingers*

No problem, man; happens to the best of us. One of the reasons I keep magnifiers and calipers around in the first place. :)

The only real concern I had was someone stocking up on 18350's and then not being able to use their brandy-new BB when it comes in!

That being said ... I will continue to hold out hope for an 18350 version with DNA-powered VW in the future. No pressure, Dougy D. . . . ;)

Sorry but there is no Puzzle. They will, without question, 107.82%, not fit....at all...(even if you push really super mega hard) the laws of math and science dictate to be impossible.

The name of the battery is relative to its physical dimensions, aka: a 16340 imply that the battery is 16mm in diameter, 34 mm in length, and the 0 at the end says that it is a cylinder.

An 18350 is 18mm x 35mm and a cylinder... it would require the battery compartment to be 4mm longer (up and down), the body 2mm thicker, and along with a greater width of 1mm (left to right).... this is to big... no question.. basta.

Regardless, the benefit you stated are less than the battery I recommend on our website Billet Box Vapor Inc. they are 750mah and protected. They are a great cell and last a fair good deal longer than the Red unprotected cells. I can not recommend ANY unprotected cell, and am going to be reluctant to talk about them... sorry.. but I have a few rules i gotz' to keep to in that area.

Jason isn't a host on VapeTV. He owns electronicstix. He just hangs out on VapeTV and was showing off his new BB.

Matt, the BB made it to Michigan so it will be on today's show. I hope to be home to see it because the stickam app on my phone is awful and hospital internet is not great.
