I need a man's opinion I think.....My husband is a chain smoker, 2 packs + a day. We tried him on the Silver Bullet at 3.7 volts back in 2009 and it didn't cut it at all for him....He was never satisfied and craved cigs constantly. He will require a good hard hit like a cigarette, lots of throat hit and vapor, and a high dose of nic I think....36...It's just got to give him the same satisfaction that a ciggy does.
VV were not available back in 09 when he was vaping. I am just back on vaping again and learning about VV. I am seriously thinking of buying the Billet Box for him but want to know before I spend this kind of money if you guys think this one will be the charm for him? Of course if it isn't, I'll get itbut I really want to help him stop smoking badly.....Thanks!
Not to long, I have one! I like the wood plates with a brass button, but pearl button looks way slick too... i have tons of stuff i'm not showing off quite yet. I'd say a month after we have had our official web store launch, and have settled into place a bit.Hello all, just finished reading the thread. The BB looks very impressive. Was wondering if any other word on when the wood panels would be available? Seeing in the thread there is a rebuildable in the works as well, any other info? Just wanted to put out those questions and to sub to this thread. Thinking once the wood panels come out will be time to place an order, plus that gives me some time after my recent vape purchases.

EDIT: Sorry wanted to check said:Yup, it's actually just a mater of me getting a vacuum chamber to impregnate the wood, this is due to me liking to vape in the shower (really)... the steam was warping the wood a bit, so I will make the wood... not quite water proof, but extremely water resistant.

Well, stacking batteries is fine as long as they are protected. These high performance batteries we use were not made for vaping, but for the high performance flash light industry, and intended to be used this way. Your set up is unprotected but is fine as long as you don't let the voltage drop to low... Batteries don't just blow up like little bombs at a moments notice, they really give you a good warning first by swelling up, and the lithium ion based ones are little puppy dogs compared to Lithium polymer they use in electric car and the RC hobby industry. Your little green ones are likely giving you about a sustained 5.3 to 5.4 after drop out (if they are not old), so really close to what the BB puts out at full power. I can make the BB put out up to 6.8 volts sustained, but standard cartos burn over 5.5, and that is why i cap'd it there, but that will also choke most horses... But vapor is a funny thing, I find a lot of different juices like and preform better at different voltages... like right now i mixed some blue stuff with some yellow stuff (yah, some of my bottles an't labeled) and find this mix puts our more vapor a just 5volt even... crazy right.. well not really because there is a lot going on when we go to take a vape, coil temp, e-fluid viscosity and change due to the coil temp, our draw strengths and duration, these are all an equation that becomes difficult to calculate to a science...Thanks Doug!! I just looked at the batteries in my SB and I am using 2 stacked (I know how dangerous that is but it's all I have until order comes in) Ultrafire TR 15270 800 mAh 3.0V batteries and dripping on an old 801 atomizers,
Edited to add: I am voltage and ohm stupid, it is all new to me! So what voltage have I already been vaping at with the above setup?
Glad he likes it. The 18650 is a massive cell for sure.... but if he's using the black AW, they take a few charging cycles before they reach full capacity, so it should get better for him'. I will have to look into twitter,Well due to power outage no one got to see Ogre's BB except me and twitter....lots of pictures on twitter. He did take it to work last night which was his true test. He loves the solid build. He loves the vape. He's not loving the battery life but he is used to 18650 battery life. He is going to adjust by having 3-4 sets of batts instead of just 2 because sometimes he goes in for an 8 hour shift that turns into a 12 hour shift. I am very sure he will go more in depth on his Monday night show. But so far, he is very happy with it. (I had no doubts)
Noooooooooo ... I just tried to get on the website to place my pre-order for February. I can't get on ... Waaaahhhhhhh!!! Are the pre-orders closed now? ~ Sniff ~
The trouble with that great of a range is that the dial only travels so far, so you loose resolution, that is why 4 to 5.5 seemed to make a lot of sense to me... also, to drop the voltage down that low is a wast of the batteries native voltage... better to just use the coil wire to get your ohms up.Last question. With you coming up with a rebuildable part, will there be any future options for the BB to go over/under the 4 to 5.5 volts it is now? More like 3 to 6 or even 3 to 5.5? Just thinking as I make may of my coils about 1.5 ohms, can easily make the coil higher if needed though.
