Congrats for your 1000 vaping days
Billet box will be a nice present
Btw, when you payed your bb, did you have a confirmation from bbv (not paypal confirmation) ?
Off the top of your head, would you happen to have a hypothetical ballpark price of what it'll sell for once manufacturing is complete?
First congrats on 1000 days!
I would like to keep the cost around 20 bucks. the bottom piece is the PITA piece to make, as it will have to require 2-3 machining processes done to it.

Silent, sorry to hear the frustration. Silly question perhaps, but did you also try the cartos and the batts on a different device? Were the batts in the B Box well seated?
Seems in our vape world, nothing is consistent or "normal". I've had devices die on me (a Riva batt to be precise... sorry Super T), and some 6 months later, they ummm... revive themselves.
I cannot claim to be an electronic engineer, nor do I play one on TV, but I do know that our gear can be temperamental,,, even tho gear has no emotion whatsoever. Welp, maybe it doesn't. Look at Ruby for example...
I think a message to DD of BB is in order.
The cartos all work fine on other devices. I don't have anything to test the batteries in but they're recognized and charged fine in my Nitecore charger, so I doubt it's them. The batteries were well seated, I heard a click when I installed them. Now if I smell the area near the voltage dial, I get a charred/burnt smell as if something popped in there.
I tried giving Doug a call, but he didn't answer. Guess he's super busy in the shop. At this point I'd go as far as overnight it to him if I can get it back before the 28th...
