a little update......
k, so the store thingies up, so now all we need is our merchant account to ok it (legal poop), and then the store should be all ready for stuff thing selling.... neat-o i guess. I have lots going on to get this next batch of BB's ready, but in between batches i'm taking some time to rebuild at least one or two of the jigs that need updating or that just need to be transferred on over to Ruby. This go-round was to update the tank hole maker jig thing dooder'. Tanks was solely a Dev Job up till this batch, she still is doing the PETG faces, but as new jigs needed to be made anyway, they're going over to Ruby as she's just way faster.
so here's some build pics of the new jig, this is the first layer of mic-6 aluminum for the base of the jig, up to the right is the next layer ready to come down and be bolt laminated to the bottom plate....
and milled inta' this...
then a THIRD layer on top of that, not a full layer, kinda just like a head rest for the little tanks,,, but all loaded up, way quicker to load an unload than Dev's stupid jig,,, hers could only do ten at a time, this one can do one, two, thr...alot.

yaaay, the jig took 2 days to design and code, another 2 to cut, build, and tweak it's creation programs on the fly....
the work it dose took 3 min to code
(and that was me taking my time), just a stupid little hole.... oh well...
so the tanks are out for assembly now, lot's of um....
now, about the delrin face... one problem. I decided to change the part physically from the PETG faces so that the juice level was visible through the opaque material... the way i decided to do this, involves me milling
both sides of the delrin, this is not the case with the PETG, those can be cut from one side.... sooooooo i needed another jig (this fills my two jig update per batch release quota), one that holds the tank face after the first operation... This was alllllll designed around vacuum work holding, so you can see the delrin face below an't got no screw holes going though it.. the second op would finish these holes and do some other stuffs too....
the problem is, the jig that i designed and built to do the job, although beautiful, and lovingly made,,, ummm, doesn't work...at all... totally worthless... it's a technicality, but still.... poo.... oh well, i need to tweak the design and remake the jig, then i can get back on track with the delrin faces... least they half done.
anywhoo... i'm off to go do some things that would likely be illegal to do to ice cream in some other countries...
