Update thingy post stuffz...
busy past few weeks, looks like i called it when i said i wouldn't be round much after baby infant popped out. We finally got round to getting the new brass screw thingy made, this was kinda of a big thing cuz we had to make a LOT of um'... it was also the reason we didn't have a batch last weekend as there was just no way we could do both... well that coupled with my computers hard drive deciding that it would be a good day to die... that sucked. Ohhh damn, if i didn't back up my shiz.... wow, that would be mega bad, still, even just reinstalling all my software and programs settings, output possessors that run my girls (dev and ruby), it was a mess.... the upshot however is i replaced the hard drive with one of those new solid state hard drives (the non spin'y ones), and wow, my puter's running way way faster.. so that's a cool little bonus.
A few weeks ago we did pull the plug on the Brass BB's... if only for a while. they got super tricky and time consuming when it came to finish sanding and buffing.. I only just got back to giving them some attention this week and they are, now, almost, kinda sorta, 84% done... (that means i have 4 left to buff and assemble) There are only 25 total, i'm keeping one (havez too, i'm attached now)... and they will be going up on sunday.. i really can't justify anyone buying one at 500 bucks, but someone will yell at me if i don't post about it here first.. so i'm doing that... that said, they are damn near worth it if you can take the weight. These suckers are HEAVY.. if i go and pick up a regular BB if feels like air... for lucky few who poop gold, this is the BB of choice. No idea how this sale will go, and i don't really care, none of us in the shop will be sorry to see this stack of BB's gone, they have demanded alot, can't see us wanting to do this again anytime soon. But here's what the final specs landed on..
abalone button with a carbon face, brass face was just too much, and stainless looked pretty plain...
i reallllly considered a matte finish, but in the end i though anyone could matte it easily enough if they cared to, it had to start its life shiny.... and so it is...
inside went for just the engraving without blackener in the letters, it could have gone either way, but i think this looke'd a hair classier... and aluminum dial, brass dial was just too much, the contrast is better with the aluminum, and easier to read.
and of course, the flipper!
anywhoo,, i'll try to be a little better about popin' in here for updates, i have a few other neat-o things in the works i'll get to sharing with ya guys sooner or later..

DD you need two computer whit the same program in it (setup ) we never know went those computer gonna said bye bye to you.

I love, love the flipper design on the inside! It will be interesting to see what the price of these go up to once the flippers get their hands on them.
In the meantime, I'm hoping to score my second BB soon. After watching me vape for 3 years now, he has decided to give it a real shot and actually quit smoking over the holidays. I'm doing everything I can to help him, including letting him use my BB right now. His main objection to vaping is he finds regular pv's impractical for him to use at work. He's in construction so he needs something that is built tough. The BB is the only pv out there that currently meets his high standards. Although I would gladly give up my BB if it means he will quit the stinkies, I'm feeling a bit deprived now watching him vape away on my BB. I would love to be able to get him his own.

After careful consideration of how rough I've been to my once pristine BB, I just don't deserve to own one of those brass beauties. Has nothing to do with the fact my daughter's wedding is in three months and I only poop plastic. Nope, nothing at all.
