It's good... just had to get the olive oil worked in there.. just need to be on my toes about keeping up with it.. that's all..
It is working now..

Thanks :)

FYI? I swore to myself that I would never need to do this - of course, just keep it clean and take care of it~! (cough) bout 9-10 days later I almost couldn't get my lid to move~! Now, after every cleaning, a Q-tip dabbed in oil along the edges of the door, and the ball too - and all is well.

It's really simple - DO NOT CLEAN the door edges, unless you are willing and able to oil them at the same time.

Self-taught is great, but the teacher is really mean!

Given all the new users lately I've finally made a stab at updating the Billet Box FAQ.

I'd REALLY like to have someone who's stayed involved and informed in the community for a while give this thing a review before posting, to make sure the updates are accurate and no detail important to the 95th-percentile end user has been left out. And hey, you'll get credit in the FAQ header, so there's that.

If you are interested in volunteering for this, please send me a private message tonight and I'll shoot over the draft.

I don't have a clue how this works question here,

Can we make Sub-Forums in here or why doesn't BB have a place that it could make them. Does ECF charge for that?
BB could use a Sub for the FAQ, Videos, and a list of sites where people can get batteries.

I know BB isn't some big Corp with offices all over the world but Doug has been a member since 2009 and this thread was started in 2012 that should count for something.

BB keeps growing and so does this Thread, the more people that buy BBs the more people that see them and come here to see what BB is about.
And it's hard to try to go threw over 1000 pages trying to see if my question was asked before. And I believe ECF has a limit on how many pages a thread can have. Then what happens, Will they Close this thread down

I am sorry if I over stepped here, I am just trying to say that I think BB is growing and I think we need more room on the ECF:)

I believe ECF does charge more for vendor forums, but I think the bigger problem is that they may be limited in the amount of vendor space that is available. I'm not sure there is anymore vendor forum space available right now. Without that a vendor is limited on the threads they can have open. But to clarify I don't know all the ins and outs of it.

Hey Masterchief68, I am in Rock Hill, living. :)

;)

P.S. There's a Mad Vapes B&M in Rock Hill if'n you need anything you can't wait for. There's another vape place, too ... a few months ago I couldn't recommend them, but they may have stepped up their game now that there's competition in town.

The business that BB is given AW batteries they should kick in some money for ECF space lol

I am at work now 6pm to 6am :( I hope they give me tomorrow off. If they don't I might not get a day off.
I try to get to the local vape shops. I like to buy at least one thing, usually a tank. I got alot of Mechs of Fasttech when I first started vaping but never got around to getting tanks for them. I am just learning to build coils so I been slowly getting tanks to practice with.
Now I just need the time lol

Unfortunately there just isn't a good way of going about this. I created a BB group (you can search under groups and find it), but I don't think DD is allowed in there as a vendor. The other thing was Fragboy and myself created a BB forum, but I guess it was bad timing as DD's wife was having a baby and they were expanding their business, so it is actually still there, crickets chirping in the background. Since only a handful of people supported it, pretty much a dead forum. Fragboy has moved on to other mods and not really sure how long that forum will even stay there. But I agree with you, ECF is a good starter place, but it is way to limiting on the vendor threads. Basically there is this one, with a zillion pages of jumbled mess. I tried to make a go of it with the groups, but the damn things don't notify you of new posts, so it sits fairly idle too. Really the only answer is for DD to host a forum on his own web site, which is what a lot of vendors do once they get a following of this magnitude. Oh well, it is 3am and I am delirious from lack of sleep, am I even posting or am I dreaming that I am posting?

Just to clarify??

Paging a MOD, paging a MODerator...

My understanding is that a vendor can only have one 'space'. But I see many other vendors (both larger and smaller) with multiple 'threads' within that space - so what is the limiting factor? Is it only 'DD' himself that can create new threads, or must a 'mod' do it at his request?

Somebody please 'report' this post, so a Mod will look at it and (hopefully) reply?

I am thinking of a certain vendor that has a 'closed' thread that he routinely adds FAQ stuff and release dates too (this way it doesn't get cluttered up) and as he makes more than a few popular mods, each mod type has it's own thread - the process made it sound like he the vendor had to do the creation and setting of rules and such - took him some reading and time I think?

Hahaha, good luck with that. It took me six months to get the group. At the same time, I asked for a section to be created for the BB too. I am pretty sure DD could create a new thread though, as he did so for past games. But it is hard and time consuming to get all the information contained in this thread recreated somewhere else. Not to mention stuff has changed over time. The best solution, and one that will take time to build up, is his own forum. But hey, we tried that route already too.

Mr Vapian has a very good Q&A post which he updated and I looked at last night. That itself will help a ton of people. I have asked if he could also post it in the BB group. Maybe even a blog under his handle would at least be a common place we could refer people to. That should suffice for now. Besides, I think most of us would rather DD work on his cool little boxes anyway. I am still holding out for that elusive woody (the woody BB you dirty minded people).

Centralized info has always appealed to me. I would rather have just one thread to manage (find, read, cherish, blah blah blah). And agree with D_J on Sir Vapian's B Box FAQ (which I had the pleasure of scouring last nite as well). Should the kind sir not blog it, I have already told him that I absolutely will (with credit to the Maestro himself, of course).
