If I could ever get this damn Nitro to wear out I could try the bridge to see what I think. But looking at it I don't understand how it could feed any better with those two little holes as that's the problem I had with other cartos in the BBox. The holes were too small. I guess I'll find out when I try it.

I'm pretty sure that DJ started one specifically for the BB & Diver combo, because they wanted to split that conversation off from us carto-dweebs. It may have been Kata who started it, but it was almost definitely one of those two.

Kata also was the focal point behind the Bridge, as it was he who convinced Konstantinos to move forward with them. Ironically, he's gone off in other directions, but his legend should always remain intact here.

I was looking into it about 4 months ago, and after a lot of reading I went with the sophia, I read that a lot of people were getting either dry hits or flooding, and you had to get the wick perfect, or you would get one or the other. Then I have also read that others had no problems at all. I was using the sophia in carto tanks already, so it was a no brainer.

Snake's around lurking. Just a little under the weather today. Have lots of tanks and no need for anymore right now. I like the current filling method and not sure I'll be a fan of the glass tanks.

I will share a little trick I figured out with the Billet Bridge. If you push the top piece onto the coil, just right, you can get them to stick together so they don't spin or come apart. Acts more like a one piece carto. NO MORE ACCIDENTS!

That being said I would love to try one of those cut down fillerless IKV cartos. If they work that good I just might break out some of the old carto tanks.

Hmm, like the glass-faced tanks!

Replying to queries about the Diver v2, and flooding... I got mine from Atmistique, shipping from Greece was quick and not expensive. It came with one coil-wrapped-around-silica and a ceramic cup (and I bought some spares). A bit fiddly to put together, but vaped a lot better than karto and better than Bridge with BDC head. Got some "condensation" behind the tank but no leaks out the airholes or over batteries. The flavour and vapour was good (comparable to Bridge with new BVC heads).

I then had a go myself, replacing the coil and silica in the ceramic cup with a pre-made coil from Fasttech (NR-R-NR) and cotton. This vaped really well, but flooded even better, right out the airholes. I think with skill and practice the Diver v2 with cotton may be better than the Bridge with BVCs. Me, I've been using only the Bridge since the BVCs arrived, to avoid flooding - and today it flooded! (This is the first BVC which has been bad in the Billet Box; my sole Vivi Nova tank doesn't like the BVCs at all, for some reason.)

Jeez, you're getting senile. The diver talk was just in the atmistique general thread. The only thread about them i ever started was in our billet box group page. But the grvoup posting thing limited the size of posts and didn't seem to go over well. Plus it didn't notify us on new posts for some reason.

The diver v2 non flanged is a well made rba that fits the bb without modding. You do have to hit within a range on the cotton fill for it to feed correctly. Never had a flooding issue provided everything is in proper working order and built correct. My biggest issue is what a pain getting the coil leads in those tiny cup holes with my eyes. Also hated prebuilt coils as all the ones i found were 34 gauge and didn't stand up to a lot of messing around such as rewicking. So i bought a zapper. Anyway, pm me if i can help. I am positive Kataphraktos would also be more than willing to help if you pmed him too. He is more a fan of them than me.
